I agree. Sounds like a solid price for sure. I've never heard of Champion but I would take a Bosch battery any day.

I'm a however a huge fan of Odyssey AGM batteries.
I am going on 4.5 years with mine in my Tacoma and I have not (knock on wood) had an issue with it yet.
Sears used to make the Diehard Platinum which was a rebadged odyssey at half the price. That's what I had for 4 years prior to getting my Odyssey in 2015.
My Tacoma is no longer a DD so it's not uncommon for it to sit for a few weeks at a time. This almost necessitates a deep cycle AGM battery.

Champion are made by the same manufacturer of a majority of batteries

    Johnson Controls

There’s nothing to be concerned about there. As others have pointed out, different brands have their stickers put on them, but are all made in the same factory.

I am only pointing out,in my opinion, another affordable quality option for those who may be interested

Thanks for posting this! I just got one of these for my wifes Honda. I bought $50 of other stuff I needed and applied for a PB credit card (that I'll probably never use again) so I could get another $50 rebate on the $200 purchase...

Any concerns about this AGM battery being a 24F? My truck came with a 27F...

For Black Friday this goes up to 35% and the rebate still applies...I think I'm going to get one of these for my Tundra and make it fit...

Black Friday sale “UP TO 35 percent off”....

I’m not seeing any better than 25 percent off the champion AGM group 24

Plus I’ve already submitted my second rebate last week.

I originally got one for my wife’s sequoia.

Then I used that $40 GC to pay for my 07 Tundra a battery too and submitted for the rebate again under a different campaign number

I think it's still showing 25% because it's not BF yet...

    upload_2019-11-27_11-53-49.jpg

And the rebate goes up to $50 on Champion AGMs....

    upload_2019-11-27_11-54-44.jpg

I'm going to try and buy one Friday, so I'll report back here if it is indeed 35% off...

Dealer just told me battery tested out at 581 for my OEM rated 710 cold crank amps batt .. they recommended replacing ‘immediately’

I may pick up this champion just because it’s a good deal .. I have had zero problems with starting my truck even with recent cold weather and this service department is a hard sell every time I go.
They are decent for oil change and rotate at $95 but every time it’s something additional they want to get me for

My local Pep Boys has the Bosch (non agm comes out to $100) as well as the champion agm
