Shit.... grill is in from UPS... not installed. Installing tomorrow. After I read the directions, it seems pretty simple. Almost "plug and play". Just have to cut out the center, just like every other grill insert, and mount the new one after a few drilled holes. Looks pretty solid.

Definitely will do so. I planned on documenting the process just incase anyone here feels like giving a small company some business. Like I said, I'm very happy with the product I received and I'm thinking that a hidden light bar behind it is going to look better than it would with my current set-up.

There is a guy on the tundracrew page on facebook that is fabbing grills for $300 similar to the design from dbcustomz.

I like giving money to the little guy. The fact that some companies actually get away with selling grill inserts for 1500 is just ridiculous.

There's something to be said for precision quality and customer service though. I reached out to Danny at DB Customz through IG and he was incredibly helpful. I'd still absolutely consider him a "little guy".

Completely agree, in my earlier I praised the quality as well. I'm a small town guy and don't really care for the price gougers. these folks really took pride in what they did and have been helpful.

If you spend less than $200 on a grill... run fast because you stole it. Most are from $250 and up and can even get all the way up to $2000 which I cannot even fathom honestly.

Homer did great work! And thats not too bad considering you got a new color matched grill and could sell your old one. I built my own for not much less after I bought the color matched grill

I wanted mine to say YODA but I think I would get pissed at people who don't "think" and keep asking me if I'm a star wars fan. Things looks pretty bitchin. I'm going home tonight and gonna chop mine up.

Don't know how I'm gonna sleep if it doesn't match my handles. Once I start to dip I might not be able to stop. (FYI that's 2 double entendres)

When I first found DB Customz, this grill in the one I wanted. Just couldn't convince myself that it would look good on an everyday vehicle. It is sick though for sure

Dbcustomz makes some bad ass stuff! I've never been too keen on the Raptors but when I saw the grills he makes for them I was kinda jelly.
