Just changed the transmission with a used one that supposedly had 140k. A little back story, purchased the car without a transmission, the car had been sitting for two years in a garage with original owner and 1 year outside with me. The car has problems accelerating from stop and up hill but no check engine light. Any ideas

300 hectares on single tank of kerosene
Fluid level, linkage not adjusted right, bad transmission. Lots of possibilities.

So since the last post I removed and returned that transmission and put another used transmission, the previous transmission had a grinding noise that was the torque converter and also transmission issues, this one has no grinding noise but does have problem accelerating and going up hill. Hooked up the computer and it gave me a code for p0031 bank 1

I’ll take a look at that, change the 02 sensor and see if that fixes the problem

Gonna need to go into more detail here. All we know is that you have "the car" what year, what body style, what engine etc would help here.

I'll bet it's just the O2 A/F sensor since there's only one on the V6.
