My company gets rid off our Ford fleet trucks when they reach 150k miles.

Reliable is just replacing consumables....Case in point 2003 camry 282,000 miles all original with the exception of the bushings for the control arms at 250K and alternator replaced at 260ish. Hell I still have the original shoes in the ass end.

I have had 7 Toyota’s, from beaters to new Trucks, my Toyota’s have never skipped a beat. I had a Ford Minivan when my kids were small, 2 years old, left me at the side of the road. My friend was at the Ford dealership last fall, blew the second transmission on his wife’s car, he was so mad he threatened to burn it at the lot. My neighbor had a Flex last year with a green puddle on the driveway, he said one piston left him on the highway. My friends spark plugs seized in his F150 5.0, I can keep going, Toyota’s have never made me angry.

I spent the most time at the auto wreckers when I owned a Chev, but that’s another Chapter.

Out of curiosity, did you have an Ecoboost or 5.0? I remember reading that supposedly they changed the cylinder sleeves in '18 on the 5.0, and it's been leading to more than a few issues with oil consumption and the like. That's one of the main reasons I didn't reconsider a Ford when I purchased my truck. (That and the dealership was fairly inept and unconcerned with issues I'd had.)

I had the Ecoboost 2.7. That bitty engine towed 4K with ease and got great MPGs around town. Honestly, I was pretty happy with that aspect of it. Unfortunately, it turns out that having to get a tow when you have a travel trailer attached, in mid-summer heat on the side of the highway, sort of sucks balls.
