More interior storage as others have said. My gen 2 had better. The overhead storage had at least twice as many spaces. I even used those little spring loaded compartments in the doors.
Gearing like my gen 2 had.

    Always on charging ports.

A good 8 speed auto. That way, we still have the ability to haul ass when we want and the ability to cruise on the interstate with better mpg.
I get that Toyota's strategy is to use tried and true, reliable transmission. But when there are 10 speeds on the market, and Toyota already has 8 speeds in their line up, they should figure out a way.

I totally agree with #3!!!! the rear tether for the car seats sucks. I would rather have a metal loop to hook it to. i know how to properly install a car seat and i feel it still moves TOO MUCH because of the rear tether!

Very true. But honestly the only thing i would REALLY want changed is the tethers for car seats....that's a SAFETY feature

A little of this and a little of that.
I love my truck! Chrome delete, better sound, passenger power seat on the limited, led lighting all around. They look so much better with LEDs. That’s what I would and have changed. Except the power passenger seat.

    1. Auto up windows
    2. Memory settings for the power seat... I'm a short shit and every time I take my truck in for service, Shaq seems to be the porter who drives my truck around...
    3. Some sort of step built into the end of the rear bumper ( noticed these on some Chevy bumpers)
    4. Better sound system

All that said, I still LOVE my truck more than a grown man should...

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
All the things mentioned I either don’t care about or have fixed myself.
Being a Pro, I do think it should have come with a rear locker like the tacos do.

I'm with you...they know the cam tower leak issue but haven't fixed it..just monitor it. Mine was barely noticeable. I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for tundras.com. Then again maybe I wouldn't stress about it if I didn't know about it..lol ....Anyways I got it fixed right at 58K for peace of mind...and right now I'm putting miles on the truck to flush any issues.

Coming from the Jeep Wrangler world my Tundra is a luxury vehicle with all the bells and whistles.

Only two things I’d change and I’m already working on #1 with parts ordered or installed.

    1. LED Headlights/Fogs and all lighting to LED.

    2. The speedo on the display screen in the dash. Even my no feature Jeep did this. Also every other car I drive or ride in does it too. So simple for Toyota to fix.

I just installed the full headlight revolution LED set of interior and exterior bulbs. Couldn’t be happier with HR and the LED’s. With the time change and being dark so early they are so nice to have. 2018 LED Headlights are here just waiting on the Harness and Roman has my matching OEM LED fogs on the way now.

As others said more internal storage similar to the Tacoma.
Auto up and down windows would also be nice.

ARB air locker should at least be an option. No way ever would it be standard . Not the 70's anymore where you could really "custom" order a truck from the OEM factory exactly the way you want it....

Ambient Lighting. One touch lit up windows up/down. TRD Pro should be supercharged (Raptor Killer).
