What is the one thing you wish Toyota had done differently to your 3rd Gen Tundra.

Better designed interior storage. What little there is, is poorly thought out. The huge kitchen sink and few/ weird, random cutouts in the console. Molded areas in door panels decrease my options for storage there....

I picked the console/ storage because that's difficult to overcome aftermarket. But close behind are: inadequate USB charging ports; no touch-once blinker....

I hate the touch-once blinker....I'm glad we don't have it. I'm fine with the lack of USB ports because there are so many of the "cigarette lighter" ports.

I wish our middle console was more like the 2 gen trucks....but i wouldn't give my truck up over that. I've found way to over come the kitchen sink size console.

Fixed the damn AIP and the cam tower leak. I only put on 5k a year so I'm expecting mine to start leaking right when my warranty ends. Everything else I've gotten used to and can tolerate.

A longer bed for the CM. I do agree with the console/storage as well. The truck is huge, but at times I don't really feel like I have enough room for my stuff...

I actually like the fact they fold up....more room height wise.

It would be cool if the could do both though

One thing that bothers me and may be a bit over the line is the license plates lights are LED’s like my fronts. If I had to pick something a bit bigger, more room under folded up back seats. Still wouldn’t give this sucker up though ;)

Access to useless area behind rear seat back, standard under seat storage with cover similar to Tacoma, gauges that can be read on cloudy days like Tacoma, bed rails standard like Tacoma not that I use a lot put predrilled holes look stupid, 18" wheels on TSS OR, KO2s on TRD OR, LEDs form factory all around.

The chrome inside. What moron thought having a bunch of mirrors at weird angles inside a vehicle all somehow positioned at the drivers face was a good idea?

Interior and exterior lighting not being LED off the lot. Hundreds of dollars later I have the lighting it should have come with for a truck made in 2016.

    Better mileage.

    Power front passenger seat.

Backup camera only operating while in reverse instead of a full time option. Front facing camera too. Both hooked up to a DVR device that only saves 30 minutes of footage, for accident/collision proof. Like a dash cam.

Still a 3 foot antenna? Seriously?

Rear bumper needs to be more functional and stronger. Once the tailgate is down theres very little for your foot to step on.

How do you think i feel... longbed.

It's just stupid little things that I don't like about my truck and I feel like the designers did them just to piss off owners.

So the Tacoma have the fancy gadgets but also more problems and owners getting rid of them.

I only owned Gen2s. I would not touch a Gen3 with a 10' pole because of powertrain. If I did not have a need for a full size truck I would still have my 2013 Gen2 Baja. It was a great truck

Mine doesn't fit in my garage anyway and I always park in what my wife calls "truck parking" (waayy away from everyone else!) Plus, hauling any lumber over 8 ft makes me nervous without a bunch of straps. :notsure:

    It does look good though!

My top three changes would be:
    1)no chrome
    2)better audio system
3)access to behind the rear seats (I'd feel better with a stronger tether for my boys' carseats)
