I know I had issue with mounting the s2 lights but the 30” s8 fit like a glove!!!!

took me about 5 min to install, and adjust flat. Perfect fit

as far as the license plate, I’m going with the magnetic holders I linked above. Rubberized so won’t scratch anything and strong enough to hold a plate for sure. I am positive it is strong enough for day to day. And if you are headed off road and worry about it falling off, pull it off yourself before hand.

It comes with two, only one show for install and placement. I will use both for sure.

I don’t think it’s strong enough to hold here but it looks cool

    My final decision

Looks great with the lights in! Super excited to see it mounted up - this new stimulus check may give me the opportunity to pull the trigger on this bumper.

Damn, I was hoping you guys got shipping notices this week.

someone is selling one on offer up in so cal, asking $2400 for resz front bumper and some rear bumper. Basically asking for more than double what he paid

I sent Resz an email this afternoon and asked if there was some sort of delay since they told us March 16th there was suppose to be 2 bumpers being shipped. Waiting on a response and I will update on here when I hear something.

In other news ive been trying to find a rear bumper that compliments this front bumper but im having a hell of a time finding anything that looks prerunnerish. Seems like most are giant rear plate bumpers...

hmm I like that one, ive been looking at the Mazzulla Offroad rear bumper as well. I worry about still retaining the factory hitch since aftermarket ones usually dont have a weight limit on them. I have found victory 4x4 has a hidden high clearance hitch thats only $199 and looks very well built.
    heres that bumper..

Yup thats always how it works! Ill attach the link to the hidden hitch. it looks like it could with that bumper relatively easy honestly. I was looking at the mounting points that it has and the mounting points that the OEM hitch has and it seems about as sturdy as knock off OEM that anyone would buy from Curtis.

Only thing Im not liking is that you probably wont be able to recess a set of S2s in it. And if you cut the rear fenders for more clearance...you dont have the added protection of the bumper on the sides. But man Im liking the look.

Someone on another thread fab’d their own. It’s not overly complex and would compliment the RESZ bumper nicely. Can’t find the thread but took a screenshot awhile ago as I was going to have someone weld something similar.

Nice work. Have you done any towing with it? I have a 18’ aluminum fish/ski boat which is barely noticeable with the stock tow package. Curious how a bumper like this will affect things.

I haven't yet, but I'm sure besides a drop hitch it will tow fine. I cut out the stock hitch, but reused the OEM plates that mount to the frame from the hitch. There are 6 bolts to the frame on each side. I also used a .250" thick, 1.75" OD tube through the center of the bumper into those side plates that the receiver welds to as well as the 3/16" thick bumper shell.
I'm sure it's strong enough, but I'll just need a drop hitch as it's relocated ~5" higher.

If I had seen that before I started mine, I probably would have just gone that route. I didn't realize they had a bolt-up option for our trucks.

Alright guys, I got a response back from Resz about the 2 bumpers that should be shipping out, I will just copy and paste the email below.

"Morning Nick! I do believe that the guys are heading to the powder coater to pick your bumper up later this afternoon, so I would say if it doesn't make it out today it will definitely be shipping on Monday. Once Mike has the freight pick up all set I can email you with the information so you can track the order if need be."

    Great news!

I might tackle the install tomorrow!

I’m having some reservations on going from a one piece rock warrior bumper to the two piece up valance and the resz lower.
I’m not sure if I need some brackets or anything else

Looks like the next two bumpers are at the shop getting wrapped for shipping and should be getting picked up Monday afternoon. I was told the tracking numbers for the two bumpers that are getting shipped should be getting sent to us Monday afternoon as well.

I would assume so. I sent them my order number a few emails ago and they said I was second in line so mine was one of them so I am assuming since @DVCNick ordered his bumper before mine that those should be the next two in line

Also a good time to grab a handful of plastic trim clips and replace any shitty ones. No matter how careful, I am always replacing a couple.

no, but I did cut a sequoia bumper to make a two piece to try and close the grill cap created by the 2020 sequoia TRD pro grill conversion

So I’m anticipation of taking in the bumper install soon, I re-cleared the top portion of the bumper.

this is a sequoia bumper, that I cut in half to create the two piece valance I needed to install the reszfab bumper. I also did this to close the 1” gap I have after doing the 2020 sequoia TRD grill swap.

completely custom and one off. Unnecessary probably, but I love customizing and creating. Plus finding a banged up sequoia bumper was pretty easy. I love spray painting too and have perfected it over the years.

came out great with no orange peel. And shiny as all get out.
