Its hard to tell from the pics but mine is centered between the opening of the bull bar. There is one led covered on each end but you definitely don't notice it. I have seen pics where people have cut their cross pieces out but it looked pretty bad.

Thanks! Now, I’ve only had my bumper off once. There’s an aluminum frame that the bar mounts to behind the plastic bumper, it extends from fender to fender. Do you see any reason why you couldn’t have gone with a longer led bar? I took your first reply as doubting a larger one could go in the upper grille area, in front of radiator, which I agree... but, in theory, you could go 45” in place of yours, right?

The aluminum frame starts to curve pretty good as you get closer to the fenders if I remember correctly. I don't know if a 45 would fit and if it did it may be set back further from the valance.

Yeah me neither. I tried to make my tundra not so out there with lights. Didnt put a light in the bumper because theirs a hidden winch in there so didnt bother looking up options in there for lights. The only thing i mounted was ditch lights just cause i needed it for a trip out west

I agree. Thanks for your input. Does the location of your bar throw out decent light? I get you may have not spent $700+ for your light bar, but from your experience, does the location work for an effective light bar or would I be wasting money to throw a really good bar in there, in your opinion?

I have a DV8 bar in there that I bought from a local shop for $150 bc the customer changed his mind on the order. All of my other pods are Rigid. I'll try to get some night shots of it. You are limited on adjustment room so you will have to decide what works for you.

It is a 30 inch single row from DV8. When you pull the bumper fascia, it is mounted to the aluminum support behind it.

I've got a 42" curved (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G95NJQT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that just got here. Planning on putting it in the hidden/slitted are above the license plate, but the truck is at the truck shop getting some wheel well clearance added and new tpms sensors.

I guess I'll see once I get her back how the larger bar fits on there. I measured, and the 42" seems like it would take up the full amount of the slot opening...hoping with the curve, it'll fit without sitting too far back.

Will try to update this later, if anyone is interested.

Definitely interested to hear more. Are you making your own brackets?

20201220_160747.jpg Mine is a 2010 and i removed the front bumper and placed a 42" curved right on the crash bar. Predrilled 2 holes 1 on each end then used self tapping screws. Fits with a little extra on both sides and the lower bumper cover really doesnt impeed the light. It will light up the road more than my low beam s-v4's.

Thank you, I got them off of Amazon here:
This was the center one. I had to take it apart and cut in about 3/4". Not recommended. not an easy thing to do.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MMGY699/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    The other two: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K8K104W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
All were mounted by using just the mounting screws without mount angle. drilled into plastic bumper material. not easy to do without taking the bumper off but that's how I did it.
