I did get this done a while back and it works great! No more odd fuel gauge readings.

this was very helpful in my search for one for my 2012. As far as i can tell, the one i picked up will work. Got it out of a 2012 flex fuel for my 2012 flex fuel so i am pretty sure i wont have any issues. i cant confirm everything is 100% good to go yet until i get the right mileage programmed in it. Hopefully thats a today thing...

Just got my swap done and figured I'd post my experience. My truck is an 11 flex I got a cluster out of a 2010 flex Everything works fine. Took my cluster to a local place they swapped the chip from my stock cluster to the optitron cluster said it was the same chip. But when I put the cluster in the screen didn't work. Put the stock cluster back in and my info buttons didn't work. So I took it back they swapped the chips back and programmed the mileage. I read earlier in the thread that the chips could be swapped but apparently not in all cases.

How long does it typically take for the average fuel economy and mpg to start displaying ? I don't have any DTE or anything registering on mine. I did have the battery disconnected and everything when I installed it.
