Toyo ATIII's has my vote. No issues with alignment for me either after my Eibach lift.

Very. Thicker side wall & more aggressive tread will lead to a bumpier ride.

You can also expect your MPG to go down a bit as well.

I have Cooper ST Maxx now...wearing well but incredibly loud on highway. Looking for a quieter alternative. I do fairly minimal off road but some for hunting.

You might check the air pressure to see what the shop set them at, quite a few like to put 50+ PSI in them because they're E-rated tires. Try dropping them to 40 PSI. If it's a repetitive bump-bump-bump, they might need to be rebalanced.

Noticed your hood vinyl there. I have a silver sky as well and thinking about adding one. What do you think of it?

imI’m glad I did it. Not only did it cover up quite a few rock chips but it helps to prevent new ones as well as cut down on some of the hood glare.

Ok so here’s a long shot, anyone tried 295/70/18 on a TRD OF with the rough country 1.75 level kit?

Stock Pro’s have about 1.9” lift and they fit fine. You should be ok with 1.75”.

    You’re gonna rub. Somewhere.

front mud flaps, sway bar, body mount, fender liners, skid plate. These are the rub spots. Some rub all some rub one or two. You’ll have to adjust one or more of those things.

This is true. They’ll fit but might have some minor rubbing. When my Pro was stock with 295s I rubbed on the little flap thats mounted on the bumper. Only turning in reverse though. I just removed the flaps.

The short: 295/70r18 Nitto Recon GRAPPELATORS on 18x9 Icon Compression wheels. The wheel specs are +25 offset with 6" of back space.

The long, because I know there's a shit ton of debate on 295's and I read damn near every 295 thread in this place: It had these grody Ultra 20's on it when I bought it 2yrs ago, it also had a spacer that looked to be about 1.5" so it sat pretty level. Rear was stock. It has about 130k on it now and obviously I'm a billionaire so I decided it needed new shocks and struts. I wanted the Icon stage 10 but my yacht needed a new helicopter so I went with the stage 1 (stage 8 coming later this year). The front adjustables sit at roughly the same height as the old struts with the spacer, so we'll call that between 1.5" and 2" of lift. After I got that done and took it in for an alignment, the tire dude noticed that the Wildpeak AT3's were cracked and separated all to F, which made perfect sense because on the freeway it felt like I was on a motocross track. In case I hadn't mentioned it before, I'm obviously a multi-billionaire so obviously it was time for new tires. They were not going on the curbed, gouged and frankly hideous 20" Ultra's. So, billionaires buy new wheels, too. While I was waiting for those I put 1" blocks in the rear because the new Icon's in the front aren't mush so it had developed a teeeeeeny bit of sag and we don't do that here. Stay away from Readylift kits on Amazon unless you like things that suck, and you like Tundra's so you probably don't. The front mudflaps were already gone and the liner things are close but no rub (I may update that with a stuff review later). A good inch of clearance on the UCA's. Didn't bother checking the skid plate or sway bar.

The shorter: 1.5-2" in front, 1" garbage blocks in back. No rub. NO RUB.

It looks like factory toyota rims. Same ones I have on my truck. So whatever the offset is on the factory wheels. You can run this setup without spacers but you'll be pretty darn close to the UCAs unless you add a spacer. I don't run a spacer on my setup and I'd say I have about a 1/2 to 3/4 inches of space between my UCA and tire.

295/70r18 dick cepek trail country exp tires. I have 3.5” RC full strut in front and 2” rear block with bilstein shocks. Tires are around 34 1/2”. No rubbing. I did take the front mud flaps off and took the heat gun to the liner. Also tucked the front liner behind the bumper cap 3538A056-A8A1-4B44-9FF6-0B896143CF3C.jpg image.jpg bracket. They weren’t the tires I wanted. They were my 3rd choice because the other brands weren’t available. When these wear out I’m going to 35” or 37”.

The truck looks great! I have a similar set up, 3/1 and am looking to go with those size tires and keep the stock wheels. Do you have any rubbing or had to do any trimming?

As you can see no wheel well trimming (without spacers). Trim the stock skid plate approx as shown.

When I added spacers I had to take the heat gun and trim a little. Nothing crazy

Thanks! What spacers did you end up going with? I may just throw on a 1/4 shim.

I'm looking at going with this size tire in Falcon Wildpeaks on Fuel Vapor D560 18x9 and -12 offset. I am getting 5100s all around with the front at the middle setting. I also have the TRD Pro skid plate. Will I have any rubbing? Should I go with a different size?

With that poke, you're highly likely to rub front bumper when wheels are turned left or right, more so in reverse. Trimming the plastics might be enough, if not, a CB or other brand bumper shim kit should get you there. My +25 offset with 295 Cooper STT Maxx's rub there and no where else. I also have the pro skid plate.

Copy and thanks for the response.

The stock tires rubbed and they mudflaps were removed when they installed these rims with the stock tires on them. I also redid the front cover as well based on a guide on here. I do have Rokblokz mudflats now, but they are thinner than the stock ones. I'll into the shims as well. Thanks!

Hey, does this pic have the wheel spacers installed? If so, which ones did you end up going with? I'm not trying to go past the fender.

How was the clearance in the rear of the wheels wheel ? I have +40 mm which is 20mm further out than stock which is just shy of an 1” so it should be pretty similar situation. I have a CBI bumper so the front isn’t a problem. Thanks!
