Well I went out and measured and there right a 33". I wonder if the weight of the truck is causing the tire to compress, thus measuring shorter than advertised. I didnt measure the tire and wheel off of the tire, but I remember when I took the wheels off to remove my spacers, there wasnt as much of a "mushroom" look on the bottom.

Either way, I like the look and even happier it doesnt rub. Maybe when these tires wear out, ill jump up to the 4.5 bds kit with some 35s.

The weight will compress the tire a bit. I have 275/70's and they measured right above 33"

I honestly think you'll be fine with a 3/1 and 35's. Just gotta do the CMC. It's not that big of a deal whatsoever. I'm actually surprised the 295/70's rubbed as badly as you say

As was I. I would say the tire dug in about an inch to the front fender liner and rubbed the mudflap. I did end up pushing the fender liner further in more and re drilled the rear mudflap to flatten in out which created more clearance. I wanted to keep the flaps to help out with keeping water from kicking up. Next time Ill try a bigger size.

Was this after alignment? That can make a big difference.

No, i had it aligned before the new wheel/tire setup because I had bought some 33's for the platinum wheels. I kept the same alignment afterwards.

I did get a new alignment last week though because i had them tighten the lca's due to a clunk i had. The caster was set at 2.75. This is with spc arms.

    Got you.

I'm at a loss, countless guys on this forum are running true 35's on a 3/1 with some adjustments. Haven't heard a problem from their end.

I know, but they took off their front mudflaps which i want to keep. That right there gives about an inch of clearance.

My 2.5 sus lift will fit 295's but there is zero room for more.

That sounds right to me. Seems like 295 is the max (without extensive modification) with a 2.5 and 35's are the max on a 3"

Not sure but if guys can fit a true 35 on a 3/1, a 295/70 Cooper that ran big still wouldn't pass up the 35 mark.

Based off of what you guys are saying... The 285/70 should be perfect on a stock suspensioned PRO. Thats good news. The hard pill to swallow is the price per tire.
