Those were all the rage back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Fancy bug deflector. Had one on my 98 Suburban back then.. Weathertech makes one, and a few other manufacturers.

Amazing, isn't it? I'm happy for the seller. He/she must be smiling from ear to ear right now and I would be too.

Hang on to your Best Gen's all.

Edit: I bought my 2WD as an impulse buy simply because the body is arrow-straight and 100% rust-free. I considered selling it for a small profit shortly after I bought it. Granted it isn't 4WD (don't need it here in the desert) or as low mileage or as clean (yet) as this sellers but I believe it would have been a mistake to sell then. I'll gladly wait.

Wait - was I actually closest this time? My price was 35k, I think. Hitting within $250 is not bad.

Anyway, $1,816 gain before tax, tag and title is a great gain for something that would've lost 15% value driving off the lot new.

Then again, almost every used car we've looked at recently that's a year or two old is being sold in the used car market for 5-10% more than it originally sold for, so ... I guess the used car market is just in a BS inflated bubble state right now. Sell now, y'all. (I'm keeping mine though)

Haha! "Sell now y'all. (I'm keeping mine though)" I like how you did that.

I'm going to disagree on the "sell" advice though. I believe that as economic conditions worsen (and they will), the market and prices for used vehicles will increase.

    I agree with all you guys . . . my 2006 DC is SUPER clean w/ 60K miles . . . even if I could sell it for $25K . . . what could I replace it with for that price .?.?.? . . . even if I threw another $10K in and called it $35K, it'd most likely be a downgrade in this market . . . I'm keeping mine too.

It's almost mind-numbing to question what $25k would get a person but here we are. My first house, a 2 bed/1bath on an acre of property, only cost me $20k. Lol! I believe your thinking is sound here. Keep it.
