She's a beaut. Same setup as mine, but with a few less miles (233,000 less to be exact). Heather had 285's and sheepskins, so that Tundy will continue to enjoy the island life.

That's a good day of bidding, $11.5k increase. Seven days to go, what is everyone's bet so far? I say $36k.

Yes, I looked at them. I was being a little facetious with my response. Since it's close to me, and mine is pretty much a twin to this one, I'm going to see if they'll let me test drive it...

I'll just leave the keys in mine for them.

If you go look at it, please let me know what you think. The undercarriage does have some slight rust on the rear diff and some other areas. I am tempted to bid but realistically this will probably sell in the 30s.

Ok, holup a sec. What's this? I've *NEVER* seen this in an access cab truck, option N1. Why have I not seen or found a factory harness for this option?

Hmmm. Ran the VIN at Toyota's site. Looks like the mirror was a port, not factory. Still gonna dig and see if a factory harness ever existed. This is one of the very few factory leather 1st gens I've seen. I know they exist, I know some members have them, but seems like it's a 1-in-10000 'Factory' install.

I too have the elusive factory leather package. Willing to part with my truck for half of what this one sells for. Same truck. Well, basically.

So, most leather was done at the Port on the majority of them? I'll have to see where mine was done... Interesting.

It's a great question. Had another member say in another thread that "if it's not listed, it didn't come from the factory that way, it was ported or dealer add-on". But ported options are usually listed in the Toyota Vehicle Info/VIN lookup at their site, from my experience at least. However, I don't usually see dealer add-ons (like security systems etc.) shown in port, so ...

I'm skeptical of the claim that "if it's not listed as Factory or Port, it's dealer add-on", which would suggest my truck didn't come from the factory with leather. The reason I suspect it *did* come from the factory with leather is I've had the door cards off, the leatherette inserts are plastic-welded in place, as is done at the factory. If ported or aftermarket, I'd expect the plastic welds are typically cut off and inserts are screwed back to the door w/fasteners. You can't pop the inserts out w/o breaking the plastic welded rivet thingies.

Anyway, to add more confusion on that one, check out my truck's specs. I got my captains chairs factory. But look a little further down and notice I also have a 60/40 front bench seat. I think the reality of the matter is, Toyota had issues with tracking certain options and features, and my truck is actually factory leather captains chairs. I just don't understand why you'd have an option available, make it that way at the factory, then not bother to list. Unless it actually was a port and the port didn't get tagged on my vehicle. Looking at the install, the leather work looks fully OEM to me, could be either.

Nice truck, but I wouldn’t give a cent over NADA value. It still is a 20 year old truck.

High private party sale is 15500.00
    High trade in is 12900.00.

I mean, it may be 20 years old, but isn't sized like a short bus reincarnate, has a V8, and 4WD, and will go 400-500k miles. You can't buy that in a pickup anymore.

Add on that it's only at 25k out of that drivetrain's potential life, and it has numerous tasteful upgrades ... that's why you'll see this one sell for 35k or more.

The day truck companies start making trucks with a V8 again, minus an SUV cabin, and not leaving me feeling like I should be taking a load of kids to daycare, I'm in!

Told you that the other day ....

Personally, I think that's the best looking year\class Tundra ever made. I dig the limited look with painted plastic trim. Only needs a supercharger to make it complete.
