From that report there's only 2 port options , 1 Auto dimming mirrors , 2 Running boards . It shows the leather as factory .

i have a gentex just like the one this truck had laying around. but honestly just spend 50-60 bucks and get a mirror from a newer camry with homelink and autodimming + compass. if you want temp they have those too. for basic functionality its 2-3 wires to make them work. constant power, igntion power and ground

Now that’s a decent deal at 15k in the 2020 market. I would have jumped all over that too.

I was digging thru Toyota's exploded parts diagrams to see if I could figure out what harness they were using to port. Found the part number, but can't find any pics to determine how it was wired, though, splice, tap or otherwise. I'd expect for ported items, they wouldn't cut/splice/t-tap other lines, maybe use a Y-harness adapter or similar, like, maybe fork the map light circuit out with a mirror extension? But then it'd have no no ACC/IGN circuit and mirror would be always-on. Toyota's OEM add-on kit just has a 6-pin linear/flat mirror harness with several feet of wire and spades.

Actually, hell. Maybe I should see if Toyota has a connector for the map light harness, and I could build a Y adapter harness that supports the the 10-pin Gentex 453 mirror harness. But then I won't have an ACC/IGN lead. Back to the EWD again... Has to be a way to do this without splicing or using add-a-circuits.

I ran my wires from the plug behind the cluster. Unused pins had the stuff I wanted. I did piggy back my ground off the dome light though

Yeah, it's weird the Toyota EWD shows it as existing in the full wiring (I27 is 'Inner Mirror'), but I guess they used different for the last mile starting behind the cluster at connector "IC2"? I was really hoping to find it tucked away, somewhere. Sad it's not.

I need to pull the DC 'roof wiring' harness I have downstairs, may be able to pull the pins and wiring for the mirror out of that one. Anyway, looking at EWD to find the behind-cluster pinout for IC2 now... I'll draw up a thread later I guess.

It's almost in too nice of condition. I would be afraid to use for certain truck duties. I couldn't take it off-road and risk damaging it. I couldn't get a load of mulch or gravel dumped in it. I could tow with it and commute.

30 even with 3 days to go. I predict 41. 39 at the lowest.

I'll be blown away if it goes for more than the original selling price . . . every time I think things have reached 'Max-Crazy-Level', it ratchets-up another notch.

It’s basically a near new Tacoma Limited AC with v8. I expect it to go near pricing on a limited Taco.

An impossible configuration with a torquey engine. Not a ton of potential buyers but those in the pool are likely to appreciate the uniqueness. Just enough on the odometer to keep driving it.

Looks stuck at 30. I was just thing that it is high for about a 20 year old truck. I wonder what it would cost to keep it going another 20 years. Main thing I guess with be all rubber parts. But even so.
I really cant think of any new model truck I would like as good. And lets say average is 50K now for a pickup. And with most not built as good. And with all the extra electronics and stuff I dont even care about. But cost to replace or maintain.

Wonder if the 2003 Tundra could still be cheaper to maintain and repair for 20 more years.

Know what’s great about Toyota’s? They use quality parts and they last a really long time. I’ve seen rubber hoses that have been over 15 years old and wouldn’t even think about changing them out.

Just saw this thread again. Wowzers!

I really like the hood spoiler thingy. Shame you can't get those anymore like that one. It looks like it clips to the hood above the headlights, and behind the grille
