I will try to get square ones coming/going when I get a chance (these were previously taken to get you a better idea until then)

I must also say I carried these over from my 2015 SR5 where they were mounted on 18 x8.5 Method MR304’s at +25. Couldn’t bring the wheels due to the different lug pattern but wasn’t going to let my $1400 in tires walk out the door so I had the dealer swap them onto this new truck.

So the Tacoma is 14mm or the Tundra? I was going to order rims that fit the Tacoma 18x8, 106.1. 6x139.7 +20os but i got thinking about the stud size. I have not recieved the truck yet to measure.

The bolt pattern has nothing to do with the stud size. Just get the proper lug nuts for that vehicles studs and bolt pattern for the hub. The same wheel that goes on a Taco, is the same wheel that will fit a Ram, Chevy, Titan and so on. A 6 on 5.5 is what it is. Just find the proper width and offset for the look you’re after. The lug nuts for our Tundra are 14x1.5, which I believe all the half tons are.

I didn't say anything about the bolt pattern having anything to do with stud size. The bolt holes for the taco rims are for 12mm and the tundra has 14mm studs, are the holes big enough to fit over the 14mm studs?

i took my wheels from my Tacoma and put them on my new tundra. Hole size were fine on mine but if you’re worried, I’d email the mfgr and just ask to make sure 14mm studs fit.

That’s what I’m saying. Yes, they’ll fit. You don’t have to go through the manufacturer like one suggested. Just put the wheel on with the right lug nuts and roll out

@bigjuice I got mine at Rodland in Everett too. Is yours a double cab? I think I got to see it right before they delivered it to you when it was in the delivery bay.

Nice…no I got a Magnetic Gray Crew Max (pictured in my avatar above). I think they said it was the second allocation they got and sold…I picked it up on January 3rd after the week of snow related delays.

Thanks. I'm thinking there won't be any issues but i will email as you suggested. I'm thinking by the time i get the truck winter will be over anyway and i'll have all summer to shop around.

Thanks Rwaters. Still waiting on a potential delivery date of the truck. Winter might be over by the time i get it and won't need snows untill next year.

Once the dealership gets with Toyota and figures out what’s wrong with mine, I’ll have wheels and tires. I’ve already got the leveling kit, but I’m waiting until it’s fixed.

Figured this may be a good spot to ask - does anyone know if the spare has TPMS? Planning on replacing the spare wheel/tire but want a 5 tire rotation… also, anyone running larger tires have any issues with the spare figment under the truck?

Curious what it would take to get 37” tires on my 2016 TRD OR wheels. I have a 2.5” lift up front. Would it fit if replaced with some high clearance fenders?

Waiting to see if any forum members have their own experiences with 35x12.50s on the stock TRD OR suspension with the stock 18" TRD OR wheels before I pull the trigger. I know there's a few YT videos repeating 2nd hand (& sometimes 3rd hand) info about 35's fitting on stock suspension & 18" rims, but I would rather hear it first hand from members of this forum.

I know @bigjuice is running close to 35's with oversized 34's (295/70), which makes me think it'll work. However, true 35's are close to 3/4 of an inch taller and are nearly an inch wider.

I trust you folks here & forum members who have 1st hand experience much more than I trust a YouTuber who is spouting, "People are reporting that 35's fit..." or "I saw on someone's Instragram that a shop in XXXXX town was able to fit 35's..."

Oof. I might venture there, but most of the 2022 Tundra groups I joined on FB are nothing more than dumpster fires consisting primarily of two groups:
    1. The "This is why you should never buy the 1st model year of new generation..." group OR
    2. The "Here is my VIN...can anyone tell me if my truck has been built/in-transit/delayed" group
If you have a recommendation on a solid FB group to join...I'm all ears. The three groups I joined were so awful that I ended up leaving them within a couple of weeks.

Pretty much nailed it, just have to search (upper right button) through there or scroll aimlessly to find info. There is a lot of good stuff packed amongst the epic dumpster fires in there!

Any changes in the ride quality or feeling on the truck once Wheel and tire changes were made? I have the SR5 4X4 TRD OFF ROAD Package the ride is absolutely smooth and quiet stock that is. Thinking going with Method 705's NV +18 Offset with 33's or 35's. Future Lift maybe Westscott Designs Collar Lift. Any inputs experience. Thanks

ride will undoubtedly change with heavier, thicker tires and a more aggressive tread pattern.

I have the westcott lift on order and 17x8.5 +18 wheels with 315/70/17 Goodyear Territory MT tires. I expect everything will fit fine, just still waiting on my truck...

I should also add, I chose my wheels and tires with weight as top priority. I expect my wheel/tpms/tire combined weight will be under 80lbs, which should be on par with or hopefully even lighter than OEM. With the load rance C tires it should ride comfortably, not harsh like most of the load range E tires with stiff sidewalls.

Well thats not good. Whats happening with it? I worked for Toyota for 30 yrs and i know how they respond to problems. They (the engineers) will be all over it like a hobo on a ham sandwhich. Knowing this is why i'm not worried about 1st year models.

I started a thread on it for anyone that might be curious or for Toyota if they actually troll the forums. Long story short, my radio restarts randomly and I’m getting a LTA, front crash and a parking support malfunction. There was another brake malfunction but I can’t remember what it said. Wireless CarPlay doesn’t work either.

I’m not too worried about it being a first year like some of these weirdos. Usually the ones that say that are saying it out of common practice, not because they’ve experienced it. The dealership seemed like they didn’t want to be the ones to figure it out. Both times I’ve been to the dealer I’ve had several people come out to see what’s going on. So we’ll see

I am confident that Toyota will be all over it. One positive thing with mine not being built yet is most of the bugs will be figured out.

Hahaha TRUE! I’m curious to see what they say for sure. The first time I dropped it off they said it was the component that makes CarPlay wireless. They said it’s an issue but that’s not what’s causing the malfunctions.

So you’re right. They called and they have really high up folks involved including the ones that helped design the truck. They just told me they’ll be keeping my truck until I get it figured out. They have the radio removed and it’s connected to a recorder. In the meantime I’ll be rocking a sienna minivan LOL. Which I’m fine with, for now…

like I said, I have this going under another thread. LTA and CarPlay Malfunction

Do you have the 14 inch screen?
I've seen how serious they get even with the smallest little thing. On another note, i got an update on my truck. Not coming until May 11-12. Guess i won't need snows until next winter.
