I'm thinking 18s because I also tow and would like the shorter sidewall for stiffness.

Yes, a larger diameter wheel than stock will affect the accuracy of Speedo & odo, as they are calibrated for the stock diameter set up. It will be off by a % equal to the % change in wheel diameter.

Contrary to most popular setups on here, I got aftermarket rims but stock tire size to keep the plush ride quality, not lose any power, and not have to recalibrate speedo.

    Method 705s 18x9 with 18mm offset.
Michelin Defender m/t 275/65/R18. Stock is 265/70/R18 but discount tire messed up the order by 1 size. I decided to keep since it's nearly identical in sidewall height, and 275s have just a tiny bit more grip.

Significantly better ride quality than the stock 20s I have to say.

Lastly, I ordered some custom metal decals from etsy that say "TOYOTA" to cover up the MR center caps in an attempt to keep the OEM look. Not sure how it will turn out though

No regrets here 17s +25 offset and 285/70/17.

Here is pics of my truck. It has a Ready Lift of 3"/1.25 with 33×12.50×20 on 20x9 +1 Offset Fuel Rims D744 I believe.

It was rubbing a bit in front so I had to remove the mudflaps. I'll add some fender flares or aftermarket mudflaps to help the paint on my truck.

I went with the 20x9 Fuel Cycle Wheels, 1mm offset. Tires are Nitto Recon Grapplers, 315/60/20. I chose this size vs the traditional 35x12.5's because they weigh 57 lbs vs. 70 lbs and are slightly larger. Lift is Readylift SST 3" lift. The rear 1.25" lift wasn't enough for me, swapped out the 1.25" for 2" rear spacers. Now rear sits .5" higher than front. No rubbing after pinning back inner fender lining.

Dang sweet truck, that is the nicest looking Capstone I have seen! Why they put 22" rims on that thing blows my mind, terrible design decision!

Does anyone know if a 275/65r20 on MR30520x9 +18 will fit on a stock avs equipped truck without rubbing?

I am looking to go woth this wheel and tire option around 34" but would prefer to keep mudglaps and not lift if not neccessary.

Yeah but you'll poke 1-2 inches past the fender depending on how + your camber is.

I'm not too worried about the poke but part of the reason I do not want rub and want to keep mud flaps. I have Rekgens now and they do a great job keeping the steps and side of the truck clean. This combination should stick out 1-7/8" more then factory. If they poke out too much I will put a set of Pro flares on to help.

From looking around it looks like the 275/65r20 will not rub on stock wheels, but I am not sure if they will with Method MR305 in a +18.

Hey all, I've about a month in with my '23 Limited TRD CM and looking to upgrade the tires. I'll be offloading the Michelin LTX Trail 265/70/18s but I did a quick check on FB Marketplace and found a several ads from people doing the same, $600 for the set, more than 50% off on a virtually new tire! I even saw one ad with the TRD rims included for $1200 (though they did have 10K on them), so it seems the TRD 18" rims are also going pretty cheaply at $150 ea. (this is all Canadian $$$).

Is anyone getting a good return on their take offs and do you sell tires only or tires + rims?

I sold my Michelin ltx trails a yr ago. Brand new takeoffs done at the dealer before pick up for $750, rubber only. Although, In Ontario, so maybe a market difference & it was last year.

The 18s I have coming in are sub 25 lbs. I'll hang them on the scale when they arrive for a more precise number.

Bring this to the top again. Looked for an answer and didn’t find any.

Does the oem spare have a TPMS sensor?

Went from OEM +60 to +15 on some new rims. Love it waaaaaaaay more now, completely more aggressive IMO....If I had my exact number for off-set, I would probably say +20 to +25, but no off-set choice with these aftermarkets. Next up will be mud guards to protect a bit more of the paint now.

Looks more aggressive now and looks really good. Which rims are those and can you provide a link to it? What tires and size you went with?

Yea 0 offset was a no go for me. Settled on 12 since it was the lightest wheel I could find outside of droping $5k on Volk's. So wide I had to get some color matched fender flares
