slimline rb20’s. I prefer no running boards but the wife is only 5’3” lol and my 6 yr old needs a running start to get in even at stock height. Welding up some custom brackets though as the go rhino ones drop down too much imo.

rear platform is prinsu as well. The Yakima overhaul Is not technically a 22 setup, I had bought the rack with intention of Installing on a retraxone, but it took forever to get the tonneau. I ended up removing the side deck rail systems and installing it with the clamps. I have the tonneau now, but Yakima has nothing in stock currently and I can’t get the tonneau mounting kit. Side bars took me months to get. Also have been waiting for smaller 60”
    Cross bars.

I’ll be happy with the setup when I have everything in hand. During ski season I put on low crossbars to transport skis. The tslots on the retrax makes that easy.

Hi everyone, thank you in advance for any help. About to order new wheels and tires before my delivery on Tuesday!
Truck is a 22/ Platinum with AVS. Ideally would like to remain stock/ no lift or level looking at
Fuel SLEDGE 20 x 9 (NOT SURE ABOUT 19 OR 20 Offset would be better
    Tires - 275/65/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2.

Do you think this will still drive good with the slightly larger tires? I drive a lot/ made a mistake getting mud tires and a level from a iffy shop on an old truck and i'm not trying to make that mistake again. But any advice on if this will fit/ if there will be any rub/ any better recommendations for a tire size and the offset of 19 or 20 before i order it would be greatly appreciated.

You'll be fine w/o a lift, the offset will fit well also (assuming +)

Funny…I thought they had an option that showed +1 and +2 size’s up but didn’t realize it would prevent you from ordering (though I see the logic).

You will need to go into the store (best bet) as their online store like most places hasn’t been updated to show the upsize fits…

    …or give them a call.

OEM Platinum wheels with Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT in 285/60/20 with BORA 1" spacers.

Just to give any one a good idea of the outcome.

Thanks for the visuals. Anyone know if the OEM Platinum wheels have the same offset as 18" TRD offroad wheels (+60)?

I posted this in another thread already, but I figured I'd post here as well in case anyone else is considering a similar setup. Really fills the wheel wells nicely without affecting ride quality or needing any supporting efforts/mods.

Pirelli Scorpion AT+ 275/65r20 P-rated tires on the stock Limited TRD wheels with stock suspension and no spacers. They're 34.1"x10.8" vs the factory 32.5"x10.4". Largest tire I could find without stepping up to an E load rating.

No poke. No rub. Didnt even pin back the liners.

Drives exactly like stock with just a touch heavier steering. No perceived increase in road noise. Exactly what I wanted! MPG differences TBD. I had 16mpg average on the computer for the first 600 miles. Not a great baseline lol

cool, Ive been poking around looking for a larger P rated set up, damn hard to find. Im thinking about a platinum truck and want to go lighter set-up this time and not Load E and heavier wheels, etc.

    well done.

    how are the on-road manners?

Weight is key, really wanted a set of TE37’s but didn’t want to drop $2k extra on wheels. Found this company online with great reviews- 17’s weight 21.5 lbs. https://www.blackhornoffroad.com/collections/toyota/products/bh01br

My toyo AT3 35x12.5x20’s weight 60lbs each so my new set up will be about 6lbs heavier per wheel than the stock Off-road 20’s with fallen tires based off other folks weights

They're excellent. A bit more resistance when turning the wheel and they seem to want to unwind the steering with a bit more force when straightening out from a tight corner, but that's about the biggest difference I've noticed so far. Only driven them on city streets for about an hour and freeway for about 30 minutes so far, but they seem extremely close to stock.

I'm sure this has been asked/answered but I've searched around and not found anything - does anyone know the max tire size that can go on the 2022 Limited TRD Offroad stock + without any mods (leveling kit, lift, cutting, etc...)? It has the 20" TRD Offroad wheels. Was hoping for at least 285/60/R20 in the Falken Wildpeak AT3W, since the AT3Wa that came on them look the same as the tires on my wife's highlander lol.

I asked my local shop, and they are recommending 275/60R20, otherwise they said they would need to install a leveling kit. Thanks in advance!

In case any one wants to know what a Platinum looks like on a Westcott 3/1 kit (well, they state that AVS/air trucks end up with 2" only in the front and they are correct).

    Anyway,
    2" gain in the front
    1.5" gain in the back
    1.5 rake front to back

I fit 275/65r20 no issues. Slightly wider than the 35x11.5s mentioned above, but also a little shorter (Theyre 34.1x11.8)

Have you confirmed they fit? I just called and they said there wasn’t enough room between wheel and calipers.

Quoting to confirm this has also been my experience. Just put on some ridge grapplers in same size on stock suspension and wheels for my TRD sport and it honestly feels the exact same as stock. Just slightly more noise as I ramp up speed from a stop sign or light but overall I’m very happy.

0 rub whatsoever and did not have to touch the liner at all either.

I have the 20" TRD wheels and it looks like there's no lock nut? I thought they all had one lock nut on each wheel?

anyone running +25 offset? I'm curious how much poke that would look like. I'm thinking of getting the Method 305 17x8.5 +25 offset.
