    Water and ethanol form an azeotrope at a certain concentration. After that you need another method for removing the remainder of the hydrogen hydroxide.

    I’m fairly sure OBD Fusion does some calculation to predict oil temp. My Maestro iDatalink comes up blank on the engine oil temp when I validate the PIDs, so it’s not detecting anything.

    Coolant temperature is a standard PID number 4. If iDataLink can't see it, it's a problem with iDataLink. Maybe it is connected to a different CAN? In my non-Toyota car HU is connected to the slow speed CAN-bus that runs auxiliary functions, while critical components like engine are all on the high-speed bus.

    I can see coolant temperature, it's the oil temperature that it doesn't read.
