It’s bullshit they take all this out and the price is the same, part or the reason I’m skipping them this time

The $175 must be the labor for not installing it cuz it sure ain’t the part cost

May these deletions and dinky credits are bullshit IMO

But it doesn’t matter I think the only thing I’m not getting is the second fob for my tundra unless something changes

You get it, just not right now. I was told they treat it as a recall. You will get notified to make an appt and the dealership will receive and program the key for you

That’s one that shouldn’t be on a 1/2 ton anyway. Would be handy if you had a 5th wheel but I’ve never used mine.

Agree. I only use it because it’s there. Like I was saying it’s one of those deletes where if you think about it, you wouldn’t walk away from. You’d just piss and moan lol

Your point is valid though. These feature deletes are BS.

I kinda skipped around but did they say if the Tremor was in Sport mode? I’m surprised it was even that close if it was.

Huge difference in that rolling start. Tundra gets burned. Ford and GM using the same transmission tho right?

Ah, same transmission, but tuning/shiftpoints are different. 3.31 rear end is probably not doing the Tundra any favors.

Not that the Ford sounds great, but that 3.4 sounds like ass when they revved it up.

Yeah, i didnt mean all the same, as the engines will hit redline at different times. Also that ZR2 is cool, but 3.23 and only 8800 lbs towing is kinda mehhh.

I’m pretty surprised the zr2 didn’t really do better. Maybe it’s above sea level. But that tremor though has some serious power.

I think the turbos must kick in at lower rpm or spool up faster than the Tundra. Sport mode on my Tremor, even with 35's feels like a video game.

EDIT quick search shows this Youtube channel is based in Toronto. If so, it's sea level.

If you need to tow heavy, don't buy the truck designed for off roading.

yes, but both the Tremor and Pro tow 2000 plus on that. Look I know the Raptor is made for offroad and doesn't have suspension for towing, but it does off roading much much better than a ZR2 and tows about the same.

Hard to tell for sure. The specs on the Ford Canada website aren't broken out by trim level.

Which is like 3000 lbs less than the max an F150 can be rated to tow.

Yes but you give up some to have more offroad capable. Bigger tires, softer suspension, extra options like heated seats all go against towing/payload. The max tow on a F150 is like a base model.

I think it was telling for me to have my brother and best friend who are both die hard Chevy guys say how disappointed they are in current GM offerings and looking at Ford.

Still more than the even the hightest rated 2nd gen Tundra. In any case, if you need to tow more than 10,000 pounds, it's time for a 3/4 ton.
