Not b/c anything was wrong with it tho. Jealous that the PB engine is superior to our iForceMax in MPG and has a bonus generator.

I feel like when Tundra gets some mileage out of the redesign and they finally feel pressed to freshen it to keep people interested two thing that could happen are some tuning trick to pull 20 or 30 more hp and pounds of torque out of it and an inverter of some size or another gets thrown in in 2-3 years.

Thats awesome. I bought my GX in Feb of 2020, before the pandemic and before the used car prices went through the roof. I regret not coughing up the money for a Land cruiser.

This is the second time i have done that too. I bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD and at the same time was looking at the 2007-2008 Grand Cherokee CRD’s. They were running about 50% more at the time, so I went cheap and bought the Liberty, and really regret it looking back. Id probably still be driving the GC today instead of the GX

This is very true. I have 6 warranty items that need to be fixed and none of them can get parts for scheduling til June 2023. Not worth it. At 7k miles it's already rattling like crazy. Ford does not build well made vehicles. This is my second Ford... not doing this again lol

This is truth. Ford service is the worst. take a look at fordraptorforum or gen14f150.... it's a total disaster

My Tundra rattled like crazy off the lot as well as several problems Toyota won't even address or issue TSB's for.

The chip crisis at ford is really getting bad. Owners now have to walk off the lot with their trucks, they dont even have to wait to get stranded later on.

    Too soon.

I had to wait 8+ months for mine because of those chips.

Bilstein 5100's, Morimoto gen 2 XB headlights and fog lights, TRD sway bar and skid plates. Nothing else needed!
My GF had a ford. Two of my close buddies have them. My GF's transfer case seized at 60k miles. My two buddies trucks are coming apart inside at close to 100k. I have a 14 Tundra, and I have had ZERO issues other than wearable parts. Ford doesnt stand behind their products. For my money, I'll take a truck I can get 200k+ out of vs one that will get met to 100k at best, regardless of resale value etc.

I dont know if youve seen this posted on Tremor forums, but with the F250 Tremors being over 7' tall, some easy pass and xpress lanes in the DMV(DC/MD/VA) area now wont qualify to be a non commercial vehicle and thus cant use the lanes.

I hadn't seen that. There are separate forums for the 150 Tremor.

That's wild. I guess it makes sense if being under 7' is one of the qualifiers of being a personal use vehicle.

Yeah a coworker was ordering his 2023 to replace his 2018 SD b/c he wanted the HO 1200 ft/lbs of torque. Couldnt get the Tremor Platinum bc it was over 7'. I do believe we are in the gilded age of internal combustion powerplants and lifted stock trucks.

I'm one of those that thinks it's silly for people to be daily driving a vehicle like that unless they use it for work.

Hey, that's all cool, but I thought that it's not a good idea to use reverse drive mode to pull stuff as it adds lots of stress on your reverse gears which are weaker than the forward gears?

So I can do the same thing with my Tundra, just hook up the rope to the tow hitch :)

Haha. I'm not sure reverse gear is "weaker" but it is a higher ratio than 1st in most transmissions. In any case, I had the throw line so high it had a ton of leverage. Basically just idled back in low range. Less stress than backing up my driveway.

Depending on what exactly you're pulling, tow hitch may not be the right tool for the job. They really don't have any lateral strength and tend to break under shock loading.

Dont say that to the wrong person. They'll start going off about their rights and stuff.

Thats what 4Lo and 3.73's is for. De-stressing the transmission.

Well a chain would be a poor choice here. And it should be noted that many mistakes were made here. Using a strap in place of a kinetic rope, and anchored to a drop hitch. Basically a recipe for disaster.

I don't need tow hooks because I know how to drop a tree where I want it without using my truck.
