Hoping it's that easy for my pro and my raptor. My 21 pro in houston was in and out. My 21 F150 took like 5 hours. Another below invoice dealer, Laura Ford, in STL. Great dealership, slow af.

So I built a base Pro and base Raptor using online configurator just now, no option nor accessories, the price difference is 4k (69 vs 73). Any markup on the Pro would put it on par with Raptor price wise. I think both base trucks are well equipped as is, can happily live with either one. I plan to order a Pro within a year but can be swayed toward a Ford.

Base raptor has no pano, no hybrid and no roll down rear window, but I like the 17 inch wheels, 35 tires and front bumper approach better. Plan to keep it a long time so not sure if hybrid is a plus or minus if battery gives out. Thoughts?

That’s going away my friend. 23 raptor has two trim options. Top of the line regular raptor or raptor R. Cheapest 23 raptor is 79k. Mine is $81k after pano roof and bed liner.

Are you planning on offroading them? If so, the Raptor has a significant advantage from the factory. The TRD Pro is basically just a regular Tundra with some OEM Fox shocks but the Raptor is running long travel suspension and Fox 3.0's with the 35's and ability to run 37's without much effort.

Also, I bet the raptor is faster. More power and lighter than a TRD Pro.

My dealer didn’t opt into the clause. Well so, far.

that clause is so great. It’s refreshing to know multi billion dollar corporations created contracts so multi million dollar dealerships can profit and not consumers.

If I was planning to keep a truck for a long time, I'd still take a first year Toyota over any Ford.

Nobody is going to be keeping these New trucks a long time Toyota included.
The head Unit alone will fall into a Windows 7 scenario before some of the mechanicals go.
Everyone will be turning over the current New vehicles within the warranty period.
Much change is coming with battery tech.

I honestly should have the lightning and pro at the same time. And I want to drive to the school after hours and do a comparison.

I had to take my wife's new 22 4Runner in for some paint repair (it was messed up from dealer transport) so while I was waiting I checked out the Tundra in person. It was an SR5 so maybe they are not all like this but the interior materials felt so cheap compared to my Tremor. Plus, the Ford's just look better on the exterior too. I smile every time I go into the garage. The 3.73s turn the 35's much better than the Tundra 3.31s would too.

What tire size do you go up to? And what are you seeing for mileage pre and post tires?

The SR5 shares some similar interior garnish pieces as the rest. But the Limited and up have a lot more soft touch surfaces and better door panel and dash materials.

Every time I see a Ford F-150 Tremor, all I think is "they couldn't afford a Raptor."

I'll see myself out of this thread now...

Must be why they put the 5.0 in the Tremor this year. So folks could supercharge it and have a budget Raptor R. Which honestly I would do for the prices they are commanding on the Raptor R. But I'm fine with the regular Raptor. Something about that widebody bitch and the yellow DRL's that makes me drool.

I wish the TRD pro followed the TRX and Raptor with the true widebody and not just thicker fender trims.

I thought they were all 3.5EB in Tremor? oh well. Probably very close to a Pro in capabilities, just looks too similar to the 5 million F150s youll see around.

I love the Tremor and in my opinion I think there are alot of people that buy them because they cannot stand all the plastic the raptor has like on the tailgate and wheel wells. I know alot of people HATE that and will avoid certain vehicles because of it. I have spoken to a few people with Tremors and they say when they go out offroading it does everything a Raptor can. I truly think you would look at both trucks because of truly looks as they both offer something completely different but both are still rugged.

2023 model year they added v8 as standard engine and 3.5 as optional.

min surprised how many people hate the black appliqué, I love it. I wouldn’t buy a raptor that has that deleted

Personally I love the black on the raptor but also love the look of a fully painted body Tremor as well. I think as of now best looking off the lot trucks are the TRX, Raptor, Tremor and AT4X. Without a single mod I think all those trucks look best fully stock[IMG][IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Haha, well not to sound like an asshole but I wrote a check for this loaded Tremor, I guess I probably could have covered another $10k had I wanted a Raptor. The white Oakleys (required to drive Raptor) don't fit my face well, plus I need more payload and towing than the Raptor offers.

Most people that are getting the 5.0 Tremor want to put a winch in. For me to do it with the Ecoboost, I'd need to relocate the intercooler.

My Tremor will do everything a Raptor will do as long as you are East of the Mississippi. If you have access to the desert, the Raptor might be a better choice.
