no, I went back this tundra 2016, the one have now. I had a 2010 limited tundra DC before that, two other tundras and a shit load of tacomas, lol.

I wanted to try soemthing different with the Ram, I liked it but wanted another tundra after 3 years or so.

in 2013 it had so many more features than a tundra is was crazy, some of them I still do miss. the 350 hemi with a borla sounded awesome

at the moment Im leaning 6.2 GMC AT4, but I want to drive and check out the 2022 tundra platinum as that is still on the list for sure if I can fit it in garage.

kinda tough to say that right now since there are brand new tundras with the cab removed and turbos going in and CELs etc.

hasn't been a smooth launch to the point of where toyota reliability is automatic like it seemed to be before.

Im waiting to see how this plays out a little. That said, you would think on the average the tundra will still be better, I mean if toyota doesnt have superior reliability, then there is no reason to buy one.

I think you’re smart to do that. I agree about the turbos, however few it may be that have the issue. That sucks and it would make me very cautious as well if I were in the market for a 3rd gen Tundra.

That doesn’t change Toyota’s track record or the fact that Toyota’s reputation still factors in to how they are pricing the new model and what people are willing to pay.

I bought my Tundra for reasons that the 3rd gen either hasn’t yet demonstrated or moves away from (rock solid reliability and ease of self-maintenance). 3rd gen isn't looking like something I’m going to want to purchase when the time comes. We’ll see how the first couple years go. That would address reliability, but it seems like ease of self maintenance may have died with the 2nd gen.

So Toyota is just giving up sales because they feel if they only make 150k of them they will be better? Even though they make 250k Tacomas a year?

Or, maybe, its cause people appreciate a modern 8 speed transmission, a super nice interior that rivals German cars, and the ride from the coil sprung axle?

I've driven a lot of Ram's as rentals. Used to travel every 2-3 weeks for work. They are nice trucks and I can absolutely see why people buy them.

That ZF8 is great, they really solved the old Ram transmission deal in 2013 with that move.

    Get ya some-
McDonald's admits that, in spite of its name, the sandwich is not made from rib meat. How this doesn't fall under false advertising and labeling I'm not sure, but somehow, they get away with it.

McDonald's claims that the sandwich is composed primarily of shoulder meat. As it turns out, the truth is much less appetizing. Chicago Magazine broke the story that the ingredients actually consist of restructured meat products like heart, tripe, and scalded stomach.

The McHeart, McTripe, and McScaldedStomach just don't have the same ring, do they? Unfortunately, all three of those names would be more accurate than "the McRib."

    Yummy-
The sandwich contains around 70 different ingredients, including one that is particularly worrisome. That ingredient is a food additive called azodicarbonamide. This means that McAzodicarbonamide is also a more accurate name for the sandwich. Azodicarbonamide is a flour-bleaching agent that, when not used in McRib buns, inhabits gym mats, yoga mats, and the soles of shoes. Yum!

Azodicarbonamide is banned in Australia and Europe and is considered by England's Health and Safety Executive to be a respiratory sensitizer, possibly contributing to asthma through occupational exposure. The sandwich also contains ammonium sulfate and polysorbate 80.

You've probably had that ingredient too. It's not special to the mcrib bun, it's everywhere in almost every bun created. But okay champ. Ride off on your high horse with your lettuce wrap.

There is a huge difference if you can’t remove the bin in the new one. It’s not something that would bother me often but I do agree it’s a step backwards. I fold the rear seat up and put the recyclables ( 2 full size trash can) back there on trash day. Trash goes in the bed. I store luggage on the floor too when we road trip. Because I have had two bullet proof Camrys and a trouble free Tundra I’ll probably still end up in another Tundra ( rear roll down window is weighted heave for me along with reliability and the feeling of a solid, well built vehicle).
