is this the SecuriAlert feature or another app feature ?

What is the SecuriAlert feature in FordPass®*? The FordPass SecuriAlert preview feature allowed you to get a notification on the FordPass App whenever one or more of your vehicle's door status changed to open and or when the trunk/hood was opened. As of May 8, 2023, this feature is no longer in FordPass.

This SecuriAlert feature in theory should allow you, if you drop your vehicle off at the dealer to tell when they actually open it, move it and work on it. That's one good reason for Ford to turn this feature off - 8^0

If it's such a POS why don't you buy something else? That's what I did with my Tundra.

I don’t want to speak for that guy, but some of us are issued POS vehicles by our company. I got a whole fleet of garbage GMs to pick and choose from.

Oh your being silly, it's for the company I work for. I got my 2023 toyota Plat in April of last year because of the POS Ford transmission in my past f1shitty going at 45,000 miles. My company I work for are slowly going to rams vans and the battery is alot easier to get to via the front floor.

    All good!

I just put batteries in them cause I guess the people who drive them cannot. The 3500 pro master payload is over 4000 lbs, not bad for a front wheel drive.
Co.pany has enterprise do all the repairs but for some reason I have to stop doing my job to replace batteries.

Yet another recall where the manufacturer tells you something disastrous could happen but they'll get around to formalizing a notification and repair process in a couple months so in the interim Idonno if you're worried I guess maybe put a block in front of the tire or something.

Don't worry, they plan to send you a notification via snail mail in two months so you will be safe.

F-150 won't even let you get out in N. If you open the door it shifts to Park. Freaks me out every time.

When I back up in the woods I don't have the fancy cameras you guys have. If I need 2 inches, I open the door while in reverse and look at the ground below for reference. Cant do that in the F150? I have to admit that the ancient camera in my truck is right on the money as far as backing up and having the hitch ball right beside the coupler.

    https://www.topspeed.com/2024-ford-f-150-raptor-r-review/

"To my right, a renowned Baja 1000 driving instructor is calmly relaying navigation instructions. “See that rise coming up?” he asks. I say I do. “We’re going airborne when we hit it; keep your foot down and the steering wheel straight.” I do so. The Raptor launches, flies some 50 feet through the air and lands as softly as if it were touching down on a pile of cotton balls. The 35-inch tires bite into the desert floor once again, the Raptor continues hurtling forward—with no loss of stability, no drama and without breaking stride."

that was in the 2010 model - the new 2024 one comes with 37's.

ya, I don't understand the issue in a practical sense. maybe Ill try mine and shift in N and see what happens.

the parking brake is auto in the tundra so when you hit P, its on anyways.

I should change the setting on mine. Default is just to apply parking brake when on an incline or when I have a trailer hooked up. No reason not to use it all the time.

EDIT: it also applies it automatically when you shift to park after backing up to the trailer.

I think the Pilot is the same. There's a special process if you want to take it to one of those automated car washes supposedly.
