My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas. Years past it was always something for the truck but I can't come up with anytiint. Maybe I am getting old and boring but I an unmotivated to do anything else on the Ford beyond tonneau, tint, ventvisos and mudflaps. Not interested in a lift or exhaust. lifted powerboosts on big tires honestly confuse me.

Feel like every time I've tried to crank premium stereos on vehicles in the past 10 years I hear "too loud, too loud." I have premium 20s that look good enough for me.

She actually asked my why my list is so boring now.

I buy gun stuff all the time now, then when she asks me for a list and I put any of that on it she rolls her eyes and acts like she doesn't like buying that stuff for me. Then when I just ask for clothes I get more eye rolls.

    I don't fish.

    I don't golf.

I don't do much to my vehicles anymore.

I watch sports but am not a guy that can sit around getting down in the weeds rattling off the daily minutia of every team of every sports league in depth all day long.

I shoot a couple times a month on a work week when everyone else is at work or school, work out, drink beer and do Dad stuff.

Sorry was out at lunch, had to drive a coworker to the Ford dealership to get him a loaner vehicle. His brand new F250 Tremor blew a power steering pump. But just ask him, Ford has the best customer service, always have nice rental cars to drive for a couple days while waiting for his to be fixed. Wouldn't wish failures on anyone's vehicle....

But the smile on my face rolling up to the Ford dealer to drop him off is priceless. Cant make this up.

The GM recall is proof they really want a convertible truck, to replace the Camaro.

Maybe he shouldn't of purchased one made during the strike? When workers hate the company, who knows what they did to those vehicles?

Driving a company provided 2020 Chevy Silverado with 2.7L turbo, one wheel drive, small stock wheels and no lift. At around 42,000 miles It has a check engine light on. Typical quality. Code is for an evap system fan problem.

He's a frequent customer to this dealership, I guess he got the red carpet treatment. They know how to make people feel special in customer service, they have lots of people to practice on

I got a loaner when my Powerboost was stuck for 15 days because the tailgate button recall scrambled software and made it go haywire. My dealer let me keep one of the vehicles they use as a shuttle and may have put something else into service as their shuttle for that time frame. The fact that recall work that should have taken a few hours caused the problem was likely a big factor. I guess if your dealer doesn't keep a vehicle on hand and have it to spare when you need it and the manufacturer isn't doing a goodwill gesture you're out of luck.

I appreciated the use of their 4 year old escape until it was almost time for the family to hit up the shore rental and I had to tell them my truck needed to get sorted out and given back to me because the Escape would not do what I needed on that trip. Since then I went with the premium care for 8/100K with 10 days of rental at 60$ so I can get into something a little more comfortable without depending on them to have a spare available. I hope to have a spare car in the driveway again before it gets to that though.

The fact that they would do things like that to sabotage a truck that will ultimately end up in some bystanders hands maybe reflects why Ford doesnt wanna pay them more.

I'm all about lower lumbar support and was surprised to have the tundra seats lumbar be adjustable up and down. Found my sweet spot and without it takes me 5 mins to get out after a 15min drive.
    No adjustable lumbar no sale!

I have a sleep number bed, how about you @DrZoidberg ?

    I dont.

For me the seats are all about pitch and and the support in the legs . Tundra seats, height, and support fell way short. Needed the seat jackers to achieve. The best yet have been the optional recaros in the raptor. This Durango is the worst I’ve ever had. By a mile.

I never thought a pickup truck thread would make me think of Princess and the Pea. But here I am thinking about it. 8^0
I guess that is what these vehicles have become.
When my wife and I took out the 2018 Tundra I ended up buying for a test drive her first comments were. Wow these seats have a lot of room. It was definitely built with a bigger theme in the Cab.
If you need to be hugged and caressed, maybe vibrated..... just short of a happy ending - probably not for you.

I really liked my 21 TRD pro seats. They were enormous. I liked my lariat f150 seats. F150 seats are surprisingly adjustable af

Exactly the same here. I need to be able to tip the front up to support my legs. Lots of vehicles fall short.

Now that I have had this truck for a few weeks, I have found it doesn't tip quite as much as my 2020 F150 did, but it's still enough for me to be comfortable. And overall the seat is a little softer which I prefer.

Adient makes F150 seats. All of my trucks had stickers on the rear of the back seats (probably supposed to be pulled in PDI but no one folded the seats down to notice them) with their name on them. Not sure who else uses them and if they are just the manufacturer or if they do some of the design work as well.
