I have two Ford dealers that are about a 40 minute drive from me. One is horrible - they're incompetent and disorganized. The other I don't have direct experience with - I was going to give them a try for some fluid changes that I wasn't comfortable doing myself on the last truck, but they were in the process of changing ownership so I decided to stick with the one an hour away that I know and trust. They're good, honest people and their master tech is really good. I wanted to buy a truck from them, but I was looking for a dealer stock leftover 2023 and for some reason most of what they get is a bare bones XL or a "Rocky Road/Black Widow" brodozer.

Hi guys, I started this thread more than 2 years ago and I am shocked to see that it's still going on and it's got to page 171 :). I didn't check it for a very long time and a fellow member just told me that it’s still on.
As a summary to the people that were not here from the beginning, I was debating at the time what truck to get in between the new Tundra and the F-150. I am a big Toyota fan, and I really wanted to like the Tundra more, but to my surprise I didn’t. I liked the F-150 more from all the aspects, from cost to driving dynamics and capabilities, and more than 1.5 years ago I got a ‘22 Powerboost BAP 502 A. As an update - I don’t regret the decision at all, we love the truck, and the Pro Power onboard is a game changer for camping and more. It tows very well, great fuel consumption and pretty reliable. I had a couple of small issues that were fixed very fast - a part changed for the heat exchanger and a window switch - other than that it’s been the perfect truck.
I am glad to answer any questions if somebody is on the fence like I was at the time.
    Cheers to everybody!

Good to hear your truck has been good!

Like you, I wanted to like the Tundra. I had a Tacoma for four years and I loved that truck. I just couldn't do it. Sure, there were things I liked - most likely better reliability, DC Limited config, and the composite bed for starters. But, there were too many things that I didn't like as much - I can look past a couple things, but the lack of 4-Auto was the biggest deal breaker.

Right now is a good time to upgrade the larger fuel tank, while your at it since your there type of thing. This may be a blessing for those with smaller tanks!!

GM’s and roofs don’t mix. Had a Yukon buyback for the wind buffeting issue.

I don't understand the bashing on this forum for a truck that it is based on, people talking up rams which are big ole POS and f150s like they are gold. I figure this is the most popular toyota tundra forum on the internet and most every one talks about other rides.

2016 Yukon. It was a whole thing with the cylinder shutoff would cause a vibration that ran through and would create a buffeting issue due to weak roof to structure welds I believe

My f150s were quieter than all 3 tundras. 21 pro was loud for exhaust. My 22 pro and 23 platinum had wind noise. My f150 lightning had wind noise. Raptor was solid. Model y is surprisingly quiet but has some

Welcome back it was great chatting with you.
This thread is kind of like the Ground Hog Day movie. Rinse and Repeat as new buyers owners join in conversation. Lots of good information exchange.
Members probably wonder how in the world it has gone on for so long, and so many pages.

My opinion is if Toyota had knocked the “new” Tundra out of the park in 2022, like they did when it was first introduced, this thread would then have been 2 pages.....max. 8^0

I agree. If the 3rd Gen had been so far and above like the 2ndGen when it came out, this thread would be less exciting.

BUT YET HERE WE ALL ARE!!!! Arguing the same tired lines, recycling the same video of broken F150s and Tundras, with the occasional sh*tting on Rams and GMs mixed in. Ahh what a time to be alive!
