Ya, I know the situation for those, but I ordered the Hybrid one. A full electric truck will have a bad range in the winter and when towing so that is not an option for me.

I’ve actually had the opposite on the Ford forums. A lot of guys on there don’t really care what you buy. They will help you out whichever way you go. Well maybe not for Dodge. Seems like everybody hates them. I’ve personally never owned one. If it was anything like my jeep grand 96’ jeep grand Cherokee back in the day I would never buy one. Too many problems.

Thank you! Waiting is not an issue for me as i'll have a Tow Vehicle until the truck comes. And I was surprised, but opposite to the markup - I was able to find a way to get a great discount

Did you get a Ford pco discount? I have one on order at invoice and trying to generate one.

Still trying to get a dealer to call me so i can order an SR and see which comes in first. I have a few parts for the Ford but nothing major. I think the Tundra will be better for us for a few reasons.

Honestly not sure what the invoice is here in Canada - but I got a discount a few hundreds less than an X Plan pricing. Considering that nobody else sells under MSRP and even adding more - I take this as a win :)

I've been having a great experience on the F-150 forum I'm on even with my Ram . Lots of questions from F-150 owners but nothing bad . Pretty much the same on this forum . I like reading up on all things truck related and I find the forums is where you get a mix of the good and bad in the respective vehicles .

    Nice…
For us it was literally the 1794 package that caught her eye. We were there for a Rav4 prime but drove away in both:)

To stay on topic… I had an F150 in high school. My uncle uses it as a deer stand now. I’m done throwing trucks away. Tundra 4 Eva!

My '21 F150 at work has developed a new trick. It likes to randomly roll the passenger side window down. So that's neat, especially in -20F and blowing snow...

I hope that PB treats you well! Last guy on this forum who bought one dumped it in a hurry. Or maybe he’s waiting on a Tundra to be built? Not quite sure. I truly hope that your experience is much better than his was.
Oh man, this makes me wince for all the times my various Ford-loyal family members have been told this…

That's funny, we left the house to get a red or a grey one, but when we saw the colors in person - the best looking by far was the Iconic Silver. Never wanted a silver vehicle but this one looks really good.

Best thing about silver is you can't tell it's dirty. When you start washing it, you can tell it was dirty, but on a day to day basis, it is probably the easiest color to keep "clean"

Is it age? Silver has grown in me on the last few months with the tremor tremor and tundra platinum.

but if I get a platinum it’s going to be red. Looks the best with the black accents it has for whatever reason

Not sure if it's the age :) but this metallic silver really stands out and shows the lines really nice. It's true, the silver color was on an Edge but in person it looked way better than the red or grey.
If I would have chosen a Tundra - color would have been the Lunar Rock - looks great in person.

Yeah I had a LR TRD pro. It does look good but isn’t available on the trim I want and the new. Pro is going to be ridiculous to obtain for a while

Surprised how many Ford fans on a Tundra forum. As an 2020 F150 owner, each truck has their advantages. Toyota is resale value bc of reliability even though the 2022 hasn't proved itself yet but I trust Toyota. Ford is features. Of course, this is my opinion and I am in the market for a 2022 F150 or 2022 Tundra, still in the research phase. Currently, my F150 has given me no problems (knock on keyboard).

I shouldn't have to do that at all. The truck has less than 6000kms on it. It's brand new. Everything should work.

Almost verbatim what I was told multiple times when I owned a 2013 F150.

I was trying to make a phone call and the haul trucks nearby were making a racket, ok? LOL

Well that's the reason why I initiated the thread as I was comparing the 2 trucks. But after driving both back to back several times and adding everything on the paper - for me it wasn't even close for the reason I listed above. I trust Toyota more too as I own a flawless Lexus RX but the difference was just too much.

    That's because it's what *I* was told when I owned my 2013 F150. :D

First time I had an issue (for a valve body separator plate), I brought it to them...and the 'tech' told me he couldn't hear the noise WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS MAKING THE NOISE right next to us talking. o_O

I came back the next day with video, audio, a printout of the TSB, 26 pages from F150Forum on how it was fixed...and then said "...and I'd like the part #'s in case I need to have this done myself."

They fixed it, but it proved to be a harbinger of things to come.

My IWE on my 2015 f150 lariat (its on 4A trucks) went out at 40k miles. Loud as fuck, youtube it.

I swear to god true story. Its loud as fuck. Took a service advisor from Tommie Vaughn Ford on a drive with the windows down. Loud as fuck, youtube it. Very disturbing sound as its gears grinding loudly.

Swear to god he said he couldn’t hear it.

I got a little frustrated and he said he heard it.

He then called me later and said it had a leveling kit on it. Which it did not.

Tad frustrating as I had just sold the truck to a business colleague of mine and luckily I was able to put him off a few days and they fixed it.

They must have some sort of bitch training lesson for ford advisors because its a real easy fix and I assume ford pays the dealer.
