I have seen more DIY fixes on the New Tundra than any other new vehicle that I can remember.
But then pickup guys do mod the most. Still
Whether we are talking about adding caulking and insulation for noise, to re-engineering the back seat area, and trying to stop the bed from rattling. Getting rid of the moustache, trying to hide the Grill, .........
Have you seen the Toyota patches underneath the bed to deal with vibration control ?
People have posted pictures here. Shoddy after thought.

You forgot trying to cover up those huge gaps above the wheels that let you see the engine - as we get no wheel well liners

Ford's don't either, it's ridiculous. The bean counters ruin everything.

Ford doesn't provide them either, looks super dumb on light colored vehicles. Most people just get the Husky liners but Ford sells them too, add-on of course....

Great color and I really like the SD facelift. I was beside a new red DRW today. Huge and then some but that’s a real truck.

Got the wheel well liners on both ends of the powerboost off the lot, guessing it may have been dealer installed. But no mudflaps tho, had to put on a set of huskies.

I watched a contractor parallel park one of those with no muss no fuss in the down town area of Philly awhile back and considered it a true testament to how amazing the camera systems are on these things nowadays.

The problem with the GM trucks is the 24 gallon fuel tank. It's not acceptable for towing.

GM seats are certainly not impressive. The seats in the F150 Platinum are, by far, the most comfortable. The Tundra seats were decent.

If y’all would work out, especially your core, and keep your hamstrings limber, every seat would be comfortable for long stretches.

    Just sayin :crapstorm:

Got ‘em. I’ve literally never payed a bit of attention to how comfortable a truck seat is, even on 8+ hour drives.

@Terndrerrr , well I'm sorry gang, but some of us like to spread out like jello and flutter about for three hours without feeling a thing.

Its ok with the Duramax. About equivalent to the Tundra. And titan sells a 48 gallon replacement tank for the diesel if thats not enough.

But I would never buy a gas GM 1500 for this reason alone. Its no better than my lexus GX.

I am an old bony assed marathon runner with wrecked knees.
Forced now to ellipticals that simulate running.
The one on the right is like sitting in a big comfy couch.
The one on the left when butt massager is turned on ........ 8^0
    Both are excellent.
I have bigger issues with vehicles whose seats are on the smaller size and form fitting.
Everyone's fit is different. Depends on the adjustments available.

I did pull the trigger. I bought the full time 4wd 4Runner 6 months ago.
So I will use the Tundra spring to late fall then park it over winter.
I will use the 4Runner over winter and for going into town.
