That looks great! Do you lose the use of the existing rails or are there adapters that drop the existing rails?

Undercover uses the cargo rails. The clamp brackets slide into them.

Hey, that's me....I'm famous now. LOL!! To clarify, yes, I fully understand a tonneau cover is not expected to keep 100% of water out, but, if I can make it so with 10 minutes of effort and $1 in caulk, why not? There is nothing unsightly, as in exterior caulking, as a matter of fact, if you didn't lay down in the bed and examine the rails you wouldn't even know. I overdo and over build just about everything I do; I could have worse flaws I suppose. It causes me physical pain to see water leaking in when I know how easy it is to stop:cheers:

You will not be disappointed. Have it on my F-150 as I wait for my Tundra to show up. I would have gone with the same yet I MTN BKE a fair bit and I need something a bit easier to load and unload my bikes into [hang over endgate with a tailgate pad], so I will be going with the Retrax MX Pro [I think thats it].

No experience, but that was going to be my choice as well. Have they finally released them? I inquired with the company and my local dealer every month since Dec and they keep telling me available in 30 days; I grew impatient 2 weeks ago and went with a different brand.

As far as quality, my local vendor says this is the parent company and step up from Bak Flip brand.

I ordered an Undercover Armor Flex yesterday from the Undercover web site. It said it would ship within 5 days. Total cost $1195.71 including tax. Shipping was free. My Tundra is a DBL cab so it has a 6.5 ft bed.

Loved it on the Taco, now I have it on the Tundra, been through the Touchless car wash and only leaks by the tailgate. Great choice, great product.

I was wondering about the touch free wash? Haven't had it dirty enough to run it through yet but good to hear.

Sorry I re-used you picture, I don't currently have that shot of my truck, but I put weather stripping (1" x 1/4") where I highlighted in yellow. I'm sure that is where it leaks.

I'm making an assumption here but I would ASSUME that it folds up and uses stabilizer arms to ride in a vertical position just like the UltraFlex does. UC likes this feature to fold up and not rest up against the cab. Don't see why they wouldn't leverage it on this model as well.

Tks, yes I assumed this as well. My question was meant to be specific to if it blocks the cameras when its up or not? If it, Bak & OEM are essentially the same or very similar as they are all part of one company than I would hope that it does, but would like some confirmation as I would hate to get one that blocks it if I could have got one that doesnt.

ahh gotcha. I would assume so since the length of the panels folded up block that bed cam. I'm not too worried about it because anything that requires me to fold that thing up all the way is going to be tall enough to see out the back window. And you always have the backup cam for reversing (assuming your tailgate isn't also down).

Sorry to be pestering you again (but I can’t tell from the photos)…

Does this cover have a drainage ‘gutter’ and tubes that goes with it?

I can’t tell/see and your factory rails still look to be in the same location.

No drainage gutter. Factory rails don't move. Tonneau track sits on top of factory rail. I live in MN and get freezing temps, snow, freezing rain in the winter and never had a problem with any of my roll up tonneau covers with velcro closure. Here are a couple of pics. IMG_20220322_155015.jpg

To be honest, every picture I've seen of any cover looks about the same. What's really weird is it doesn't leak a drop back there going through a car wash, lol. I certainly assume rain may leak some there. I like the seamless style, so I'm gonna keep it and give it a try. When I had a Bak Flip, I couldn't keep the seams from leaking, drove me nuts.

When you purchased it, did you have to purchase with deck rails? I called my local dealer to get one on order and they asked that question.

    Thank you

I had a chance to pick up an OEM cover yesterday ($1044 out the door), so I pulled the trigger. The one I had on order wasn't supposed to be in until mid to late April. I had an Ultra Flex on my '18, which was in my opinion a better cover. I am really disappointed with the struts on the OEM cover. The struts on the Ultra Flex were a lot sturdier and held the cover off the cab with no issues. I had no issues with leaks on the Ultra Flex, but while I was installing the OEM cover, I could see daylight toward the cab on the left and right side, so I am anticipating leaks with it. I do prefer the textured finish on the OEM cover over the Ultra Flex. Overall I don't regret the purchase and it still provides the basic function that I need.

No, it said "will work with or without rails". Not sure the pricing you're getting but I was very happy with Real trucks.com. I paid $944 +tax. I ordered on a Monday and had it a few days later with free shipping. It's listed at $1049 and I asked if they could discount, "sure, why not, how about $100 off" she says LOL.

Here is my two week review on the Extang Exceed I showed above. In short, my opinion has changed, I don't care for it at all. My biggest concern is on the last fold, it sits upright, only held by the two small rods vs leaning against the cab. These rods keep it from falling, but are not enough support. When folded up, the cover shakes quite a bit on the interstate. In just two weeks, I can see a very slight bow in the rods and the brackets on the cover, where the rods snap in, are already pulling out slightly.

The second gripe on my list is this cover seems heavier than anything I've had before. I can certainly fold it up from outside the bed, but the last fold elicits a grunt, lol. My wife is no weakling, but doesn't care for this cover at all in this aspect.

Third gripe, it covers the bed camera and therefore rearview mirror.

    I would not recommend it.

That said, now that various covers have been in use a while, who is using a cover they like that folds against the cab and allows a view from the bed camera?
