2020 Remote start

    I picked up mine early january, and it has worked for the most part. I do think the process is rather clunky.

    Anyone figure out a way to keep the dang thing from shutting down when opening the door? While I can sort of get behind some of the 'why' I've read, It still feels like double duty on the starter and electrical system to start the stupid thing twice. My only legitimate reason for remote start is hot and cold days. The rest of the time its more superfluous.

    You get more than just keyfob start. The app will start and you can set the valet mode, lock doors and whatnot. But if you don't use any of that then yeah...sorry.

    I tried the remote start the other day and it didn't work. Guess they have updated their terms of service maybe?
