Mine has been doing this intermittently since day one of my upgrade. Back then i looked it up and no one had any idea( tried reflashing/everythi ng else back then) got super pissed and just dealt with it the last like 2 yrs. Took my truck in for service and it worked on the way home and hasnt worked since. Normally turning the truck off and back on would fix it. No luck in the 20 or so times ive restarted or rebooted the head unit. Gonna try to reflash the dsr1 today and see if that does it. When it happens i get no audio but the track numbers are playing along and no volume numbers show when adjusting the dial...

Got a chance to look under the seat and found one of the sub wires was loose and the amp was not powering on. Refit the wire and everything is working again... wondering if i should still update the dsr1. Normally when i would get the issue i would still see the volume numbers even tho i had no audio and a restart would fix it. This time no volume numbers when turning the knob... so maybe the loose wire was preventing the amp from turning on and i may still have the intermittent no audio...

Re-Flashed the dsr1 and so far so good. audio sounds good and all the chimes and volume re-leveling works. I did have one weird ride where the volume knob on the truck displayed the numbers changing but no change in volume, audio was still working and volume could be adjusted with the phone buttons. Guess it's just always gonna be a lil buggy with the stock HU...20220904_132202.jpg 20220904_132225.jpg

Just installed mine about a month and a half ago, and have this issue. iData/Maestro is working on it, and seems incredulous that I'm experiencing this; requested troubleshooting, on my end, has been intense. It only happens with Android Auto. We're an iOS free household :)

I've discovered several work-a-rounds. The two easiest are: 1) change music source, like from Android Auto to FM Radio, and then right back to Android Auto, and 2) tap on the microphone shown in Android Auto (bottom right of navigation Google Map screen), then tap it a second time. Doing either brings back the volume in the front speakers. I'm at Maestro FW 2.0, and Rockford Fosgate 1.9.8.
