Bro I hardly say this but your cover is better than factory in every way!!! Do you also sell just the cover for people that want the new grill but don’t have the TSS system?

 

@ARES great job as usual! That second prototype is far better looking than OEM. I’m still waiting to order the grille but might as well go ahead and order one of your covers while I wait. What all do I need to make this work on my 18. Do I need both your shield and the adjustable bracket or does the grille come with hardware for the sensor?

@Roman if i'm trying to replace my 2018 SR5 lights to the 2019 TRD Pro ones is it just plug and play?

 

Do you have halogen bulbs? If so, no, it is not plug and play. You'll need to hit up @iHacker for a harness.

Looks nice, what kind of paint did you used for this?

 

Rustoleum 2000 high heat matte black on the whole system including the tips. Then gloss on the tips as well. Been holding up good.

What kind of surface prep was required?

 

I didn’t sand the pipes but cleaned it with acetone, I probably should’ve though. But I also did 800 on the tips like ARES. You should probably do his prep. It’s a pretty fun mod.


I ordered some reflectors for my 2019 lights and just found out people charge $400-$600 for install. They say newer lights with permaseal are a lot harder to work with. Here’s a pic from a guy that I got a quote from. Looks nice, you can get clear, light smoked or smoked reflectors. Klearz.com

 

I really like how that looks. I don’t know if I want to spend the extra money just to have s clear lens installed.

Yup the install with lens, almost costs the same as the headlights.

 

I am Looking for a set of 2018's LED headlights...if anyone's upgraded and has a set for sale.
