My curiosity is running right now. I believe that if it is a problem, Toyota would have issued a recall or something. Also, I think that if it’s a problem that is well known, it would be similar to all Tundras across the board. Drove my Tundra all day today and haven’t seen or heard anything like that.

I’ll be watching this thread closely.

I haven't heard it. I assume it's there. It's hard to hear anything with the music on.

If she gets mad at you, you can always use the “unintended acceleration” excuse. :D

I hear mine every now and again, but music and my exhaust usually over power the little sound. I would rather know it being tested and works vs it not working. I have had no major issues with my 2014, can't say that for the other domestics, every year they have a major recall, for brakes, steering, air deploying when they shouldn't, wiring harnesses shorting out.

I never noticed my truck did it until I read about it on here. I payed attention and verified that it does it, now I don't even notice it. Neither has anyone else that has rode in the truck, if they have they probably just thought it's a normal vehicle function.....which it is.

Lol. You wouldn’t have bought your tundra if you knew it had an abs check? Wtf? Every vehicle I’ve owned has done this abs check. The check in my tundra is relatively quiet. Nobody will ever notice it but you.

To totally high jack this thread, I turned on beast mode at the redlight heading out the county road. I didn't even stand on it and I was across the intersection before the other lane left the stop line.
    Wife Screamed! :annoyed:

Granted it's been 35 years since I drove it but this thing is faster than the 76 Camaro I had that had a Olds 350 rocket in it.

Wife said next thing I'll want to do is put the "Gas Packs" on it like I did the Chevy pickup I had when we were dating...:rofl:

Oh, btw, I didn't hear the Thunk.

just crank up that fine Entune Radio to 50 that Toyota puts in our trucks. You'll be glad to hear the thud after listening to the world's worst stock radio.
