Yep, the wires are in the correct spots. I nominate you to build the next batch of harnesses! All you need now is a green Delphi 12010300 plug in the high beam connector and you’ll be set. Did you unlock the 8 pin connector before inserting the pins, the wires look like they took a little force to push in? It’s hard to tell from the pic, but your leads might be a little short to reach the Morimoto relay harness plugs depending on how you mount it. I used 18” long wires for the DRL and 24” for the headlights. It ended up being a bit too long but it was easy enough to tie up the slack.

I attached a quick pic of my layout to show where the plugs end up with my Moto relay harness. Green box is Moto relay, blue dots are grounds for Moto “ballast” plugs, yellow circles are about where the moto harness plugs land and pink is where I ran the wiring.

@thomasbus337 i thought the moto harness would reach... I didn’t measure it to see how far it goes. Dammit does that mean I need to re do them? I didn’t buy any extra pins.

What’s the green Delphi plug for? I don’t think I ordered any.

@thomasbus337 oh yeah I didn’t realize I needed to unlock it before inserting the pins. I realized that after I did it he first time. My crimper doesn’t crimp that tight. When I do a pull test it comes off. I ended up pulling all the pins out and soldering them. But now I know it’s easier when you unlock them lol

What would the price be for an SR5 setup? I have the motocontrol already.

Delphi 12010300, is a cavity plug for the unused spot on the 9006 male plug for high beams. You can order them from mouser.com individually or buy a bunch from ebay or Amazon. You'll only need 2

So I did a little something today, I finally got all my parts for the pnp harness, first of all I want to thank the mastermind of all this madness thomasbus337, bc honestly I would of never figured it out. So following the directions and using the diagrams provided i was able to make the required harness and installed the headlamps. I am as green as the color green gets when it comes to automotive electronics, so if i can do it, i think anyone should be able to assemble the pnp harness following all the diagrams and great info from this thread. Anyways here are a couple pics of the install.20170920_172019.jpg 20170920_184518.jpg 20170920_184445.jpg 20170920_184512.jpg

    Looks great @jrey !
    Did you use the motocontrol?
How kind did you make your harnesses?
I did one at 6” but thinking of making it longer after the fact.

I did as i read, got a motocrontrol for TRS and all parts from the listed websites. I made the driver side about 10" and passenger side a little longer since i mounted the motocontrol beside the battery and fuse box. The only thing that i still havent done is cut whatever wire i was supposed to snip to get rid of the orange DRLs

I think we could just depin it out of the plug. How did you get Fused/ignition power for the DRL? I wish you had some pictures of the harness for your SR5.

Sweet. I plan on mounting in sane area. Think 6” is long enough on driver side?

That flasher is about $50. Just take the pin out of the plug and tape it up on the harness.

I was under the impression that the "small gray wire" went into the plug for the flasher. From what I have read.Thin Gray wire at pin #5?

    Congrats on the successful install.

The wire to remove is the thin gray wire(pin 5) on the flasher relay under the dash. I borrowed this pic from Tundratalk

If I remember correctly that gray pin doesn't unpin very well if at all, I have the non DRL flasher took 2 seconds to pull out the old one and put in a new one.

You can just unpin the wire, I did that when installed my retros not a fan of cutting factory wiring just in case I want to return to stock, there’s a clip to unlock the pigtails and then just use a paper clip or thumbtack 9588aa963e7ab198f07080cd4b2ee541_6dcefd8bdd7c459feed087823a3f5ea29047f0e0.jpgcbc723a6a4c60323150b081113229e44_eb7cc3b53be5c7006b272119a5e1685dd6c6ba82.jpgb08f9bf3d6b05f00d2d69cf25f9fd3bc_7dcdbe1ef0da513a8d1750474131965e455d1dfe.jpg

I'm sure I speak for a lot of us out here still wanting to install these awesome LED head lights on our older Tundras -

I hope someone will be willing to sell these harnesses or make a video that will give us guidance as to how to put this PnP harness together and install it on our trucks.

I understand that the diagrams and other information provided on this thread is helpful to some, but there are several of us out here that are waiting for someone to sell the harness because they don't want to take the time to make them or for me - would like to see a video showing how the harness is made and installed on the truck. I would like to make this harness without making error after error because I have no idea what I'm doing.

Thanks in advance to the person that finally decides to do this for the rest of us!

Inquiring about ordering these headlights now. Will attempt at DIY unless somebody sells the harness by the time I receive the headlights. I have zero wiring experience but feeling hopeful judging by the comments.

    Thanks for the useful info!

I just ordered some Spyder headlights yesterday and actually returning those ASAP to do these headlights instead as are definitely worth it for the little bit higher price.

looks like it would be close to $700. i can retrofit for around $320 and i am sure that output would be much brighter! i don't think LEDs can beat HIDs output. if only these were PNP.
