Also is this where you guys grounded the Moto (part circled in red)? Or is there a better spot to ground the two wires coming off the Moto? Photos of where you grounded yours would help me a lot....Thanks!

The headlights will still need to be aligned manually if they are slightly off from each other with the outside housing adjustment but don’t worry about the leveling switch.

You can ground the ground wires wherever you feel comfortable, even the bolt that’s holding the relay will work. Just make sure you sand away any paint so there’s good metal contact.

Did you make your own harness or purchase from a member on the forum? I have a limited and would like to attempt this mod soon.

    Thanks,

Or is it just simply relocating that white/ black striped wire to the empty slot?

Platinum doesn’t have the purple wire since they have the drl strips.
Just move the white/blk to the outer terminal and you’ll be fine.

While I was searching for something else on www.bmotorsports.com, I noticed that they too now have a PnP headlight harness for sale for the Platinum and 1794 models. For those interested, their part number is CONN-86070 and is being sold for 49.99 per side.

Nope, not me. I had contacted them awhile back about sourcing the 8 pin plugs and possibly the 3 pin plugs for the directionals so that DIY'ers could order all the parts from one source. At that point they were already following my progress and mentioned putting together their own harnesses. Even though I know how to make them, I still might pick up a spare set from them to have just in case.

Me too... If you order one, can you let me know how long they make their harness. It looks long enough on their photo but they don’t have any mention of actual length.

So I see a few PNP pre-made Harnesses for 1794/Platinums, are there any pre-made Harnesses for the SR5s?

I have a 2015 SR5 Limited, and would love to purchase a pre made harness.

[IMG] [IMG] ok, I am frustrated, my high and low led function does not work, they stay bright at all times unless I have the parking brake on then they are off, I swapped the pink and red wires in my picture and they stay dim and never go bright, I have checked the fuse in the engine bay and even swapped out the DRL relay in the fusebox. can someone look and help me out?

    thanks!

    Okay, stupid question.....
With the Motocontrol, do the foglights stay on w/high beam, or do I need to do the 'anytime' mod?

The wiring seems to be good, the DRL dim only with the headlights ON

You have to do the anytime fogs mod if you want the fogs on with high beams, with motocontrol the fogs turn off with high beams ON

That seems estrange, must check your terminals for a proper configuration (pictures you posted show the correct terminals locations) and also check for any blown fuse in hood and in cab

What harness do you have? A Leo built harness where you tapped into the fuse box or did you build yours?

I built my own based on the first couple posts in this topic
I checked the fuse and also checked the relay. and when I swapped my pink and red wires on the DRL harness the DRL's came on but stayed dim with headlights on or off. I am really scratching my head on this one!!!
