I haven’t tried the switch backs in the 2018 yet but I did in my 2017. They make load resistors plug n play. Check eBay for them with the 7444/7443 sockets. Then you won’t have to tap and connect wires.

Anyone have pics of the 2018 fog lights? Want to know if they match the headlight color as far as led...

Hey guys, I am trying to figure out how to hook these up to my 08 sr5 since I have a 2014 conversion on my truck. I only need low beams and the drls to work. Can you look at the diagram i put together and see if this will work for me. 7b5249633634abb2e1b711b5e57ef3c9_1938ff3a5e22e41bd0ed6630fc55203c78371e39.jpg

I have an 08 sr5 so I do not have drls currently. I want the new headlight drls to be on anytime the truck is on which is why i had the fuse tap in there.

Looks good, why not high beams? Think could be easy since 2008 has separate bulbs for each function like the 18 LEDs

I don't ever use my hi beams. If I ever need more light, I've got 6 vision x cannons on the front of the truck haha.

So in your truck you don't need the Motocontrol harness I guess, I never have seen the wiring in a second gen, the only thing I know is they have separate bulbs for hi/lo beam

Yea all you need is a H4 male plug then if you’re not gonna run high beams. No motocontrol.

Ya since I'm not wiring up the hi beams I shouldn't need it. I am going to use 16 gauge wiring so it should handle the lo beam no problem.

Yea and you don’t have to go all the way inside to fuse tap, just find the ignition fuse underhood and use that one in the fuse box for the drl’s highs.

He don't even need that the H4 male connector he have 2 separate bulbs a H11 for Lo beams and a 9005 for hi beams so the installation is straight forward

To activate you highs you just need a second 9006 adapter with the positive wire only, ground is shared in this New LEDs, I recommend you to wire them too just in case you need a more light output :p
    Hahaha

I thought about it but I rarely drive at night anyways. I wanted them for the newer look and thought I would be one of the first months ago but look how that worked out lol. I will be the only pre 14 truck running them though.
