Nice write up. Where did you end up putting the two modules? Near the plug where most the the tapped wires are or zipped tied under the dash? Also did you program the Evo-One for the MyCar unit with the USB before the install but then hook it up after the starter was working? Thanks.

I just installed this same setup in my 2018 as well. Also installed the mycar cellular module. Pretty straightforward. Took me about 2.5 hours trying to make sure everything looked good.

I had the same problem with the connection not seeming right from the mycar module to the Evo, so I removed the tape from the mycar harness and found that the white connector that was taped up had the same pinouts and fits well and clips into place in the blue socket on the Evo.

And have you tested it since you hooked it up?

I got the EVO-ONE hooked up ok but any info on the MyCar programing? I gave up for tonight but I couldn't get it to program. The instructions talk about flashing it with the software to Fortin 2 but I didn't see that option. Anyone got any info on this? Thanks.

Which harness did you guys get for the H key Tundra 2018.
The Fortin site recommends the Evo One with a THAR-ONE-TOY10 part which is impossible to find.
Per my research, the harness part above includes THAR-ONE TOY2 and THAR-TY20.
Also, would you guys recommend a US seller?
    Thanks in advance!

Tech12volts.com sells it. That’s where I got mine.

Tech12volts.com makes its own harness, it’s not the TOY10 , that one just came out last week I think, just give it a few weeks and ask the eBay seller most people uses on here. Look for other Evo -one install thread and you will find him.

I got my Evo-one on Ebay for $72 I just checked and the seller wants $109 now. They didn't have a TOY10 a couple months ago. I had to use just the TOY2. Not too bad but I would have liked to avoid cutting wires. Check out the Crimestopper Tele-Connect add on module for $110. Plugs into the Evo-One and lets you start the truck with a cell app.

So the $199 option with no 2 way remote and no mycar phone module, what do you use to start the truck?
Most of this is plug and play?

    Thanks

You would use your own remote by hitting Lock 3x. I have it with the MyCar phone module. It has about 9 well documented wires you have to tap into. Most are in the same harness. You’re looking at about a 3 hour install if you know your way around automotive wiring.

Has anyone run into their cruise control not working after the install? I called in and the customer service rep was worse than useless.
