NICE! What setting did you go with on your 5100's?

The rear stayed the same height as stock , in the front I went with the middle setting to leveled same height as the rear. I still have 1” in the front and 1” in the rear available if I decide to lift more.

My 2018 toyota tundra crewmax has a 3/1. 5 lift, I have 33" tires and have 3000 miles on it. No issues at all. I recently had it serviced, all I got was compliments. Plus this dealership has a 2018 toyota tundra with a 6 inch lift, on the lot brand new. So if there are these problems why are they adding aftermarket BD lift kits to these trucks?

That's what they told me too... so I told them not to replace it. But I turn it off 100% of the time anyway. Do you still have the radar cruise control though?

5/3 lift here on 2019 Platy and no problems with the sensors or radar issues. I still have a slight rake after adding the winch and bumper.

    Nice looking truck.

My problem with all this is simple, if the dealer installed the lift, then it was done by a authorized Toyota service department, therefore any warranty issues it should be covered.

You would think. Toyota will get away with it till someone challenges them in court. So who will be the first? Do I hear class action?

I sent them a email asking about the trd pro fox for the tundra, they replied that any modifications to the truck other than how it was assembled in the plant is not allowed and will void the warranty. Even TRD parts. At this point I am walking away and will go with toytec for my needs.
I replied makes no sense, I bought from Toyota a trd exhaust and trd shift knob does that mean I no longer have a warranty? I can order those trd parts but not some shocks?

    No reply to that yet..

I know it’s stupid. There is a difference between the grill on the pro and other models. The pro sensor is a few inches below the emblem to make up for the 2” lift it has. Other models have the sensor behind the emblem because they don’t have the lift. They should just make you get the pro grill if you lift it to drop the sensor down a little.

My dealer was able to re program the tss system to work after the OME kit was installed. No issues since.

I'm looking to level my 2020 as well. I don't want to change the rear but I'd like to go up 2" in the front. I'm just not sure I want to deal with a bunch of sensor issues.

Good to know. I may have to break down and go up 1" in rear like you did.

2018 limited trd, I just want to go up 2 in the front, nothing in the back. With my boat on or bikes in this will leave me negative 1/4" in back so wonder if this is going to cause any TSS issues. ..

Just installed some 275/70s on my Tundra last weekend and asked about dealer-installed lift kits...they will install them but charge a bit more than out-of-town shops...and there really is no difference, warranty will only be voided if the so-called-part that was upgraded is the cause...

Example...if you install a 2-4 inch lift and the angle causes your axles/tie-rods or bushings to go bad...it will NOT be covered...its the risk you take if you choose the lift-lyfe i guess...

That's how it should be but you have those dealers that will always try and get away with not fixing a problem under warranty and blame it on the lift. "Oh your tailgate won't open, sorry it's not covered because your truck is lifted." Probably same dealers that are marking up vehicle prices right now.

    Looks good!
How would you compare the ride/handling to the factory suspension?
