Federally mandated> TPMS, Airbags/Passive Restraints, Inside trunk handle, Electronic Stability Controls. I don't consider these to be nannies. Anything not mandated should be able to be disabled. Should be but maybe you can't like you said.

Was it dealer approved so warranty still good?

I have a 2019 tundra platinum with leveling kit (3-2inch) and all my sensors work no problem. I wanted my platinum to look like the TRD sport however changing the grill to the TRD grill would have voided my warranty because apparently u are changing the sensors. (Sensor in platinum is in toyota symbol on grill)

Dealer in canada says it's fine. You just cant modify the grill that has the sensor

Think you mean TRD Pro. The Sports emblem is no different than the Platinums.

I think my brain is thinking bout my tacoma!! My bad! The TRD pros I've seen have a "heritage" grill , says TOYOTA

No worries. The Pro grill uses the same sensor, it’s just in a different location. Sounds like the dealership just has their typical BS with not warrantying something because it was “touched”.

Lifted with bigger tires on my 2019 without any issues. Although, I did 2.5/1.5 so I still have close to stock rake.

I think that will depend on your dealer. The one I use sells trucks with level kits

Well I called dealer today.. not what I wanted to hear.. he said if he was me he would not touch it he would leave it stock.. he asked if I was towing things I told him a small boat he said well see what the truck looks like with it weight on the hitch and I thought to myself I sure hope this cat knows I'm not riding with boat hooked up all the time just for the look of a level truck!!.. but he said it's my call... their not responsible it's there is failure to pcs in the instant of a collision.. just to clear their asses pretty much.. so now I just have to make up my mind and pull trigger... should I go for it with fingers and toes crossed hoping it doesn't throw off sensors or should I ride stock for the next eight years until warranty is no longer available? That is the question!:D oh and another thing what happens when sensors do throw alarm for the people that has leveled and have sensor issues?? Does cruise still work or everything all cancels out? :fingerscrossed:

If you’re just leveling it, I wouldn’t worry. They wouldn’t be liable even if you did get in a wreck due to a malfunctioning pcs. The system does not replace safe driving. I leveled mine with a 2/1 and have no issues whatsoever. Everything works as it should.

Everything still works on mine. I took my tundra to dealership today for my 8000km check up and I mentioned your issue to them. They said it must be a US issue because there is nothing wrong with a leveling kit and how they claim it effects the sensors.

No issues with anything, everything works. Radar cruise, lane departure alerts, blind spot detection, sonar sensing, the works. Stop tormenting yourself and go get it

I read this whole thread. I have an ‘18 Crew Max Limited and was planning on a 3/2 Leveling Kit.
I did not now about these issues.
Could someone provide me with some clarity of what they are?
As well as the repercussions if there are any issues?
    Thanks!

2018 with 6" lift. no error issues. But they had some sort of TSS recall, and my service guy said they wont install it due to the lift. said sensors dont work right w lift. This was a dealer installed lift done by DSI
