Absolutely.... @inferno_pro_satx is a huge help and sent me a video on how to properly remove the pins from the turn signal plug. Back on track! Thanks,

Is the harness supposed to come with only one of these plugs...?
My passenger side low beam is not turning on. What am I doing wrong?
I got ordered the harness for platinum...

Yes the moto only has 1 input and uses the drivers side factory bulb connector. The passenger isn’t used.

Ok, got it running, it was just one wire that came loose off of the harness on the passenger side...
Now the only thing is that the turn signals flash really fast. Could that be cause cause I dont have a good ground connection? I only did a quick ground connection just to test it out.

Also clarifying on the Platinum / 1794 trucks, there is no purple wire. You simply move the black/white wire from the center pin to the outside empty pin hole.

Hey guys....im running into a problem. Everything on the new headlights work fine except an issue in running into with the blinker. (Yes...i did the repin correctly)

Car is running, headlights ON: blinker works fine.

Car is running, headlights OFF: blinker and taillights both sides flash, interior accessry lights flash, and front headlight amber sidemarker flash.

Car is off, headlights off, key turned in ignition: blinker work fine.

Car is off, headlights off, key turned in ignition to accessory power: emergency flashers flash all blinkers and ttaillights.

Car is off: I use my key fob to unlock or lock the car...both blinkers and taillghts flash, and front amber sidemarker flash along with accessory lights inside.

I will post videos. Amy clue what could be causing this?

You need to tell us what exactly did you do? Just headlights and harness? What trim is your truck? Did you do any other mods At same time? Anytime fog lights? Drl delete? If I were to guess you did one of the last two mods and did it wrong.

@bluecrush also did you make the harness or did you buy it from someone? More info needed on what you did.

2015 SR5. Only did new headlights and harness. Did not do DRL delete. Did not do anytime fog lights. I installed new LED fogs, at the same time, but that was just a bulb replacement. I have the same rear blinkers you use that do not require the resistors. I also have some LED tails. Everything worked fine last night.

Did you move the correct pin on the signal? Double check that. If it’s correct, unplug the headlamp harnesses from the truck side. If it goes away when you unplug the headlamp harnessss the problem has something to do with the harness or headlights.

Purple should be in the middle on both left and right turn signal bulbs.

This is how they look after pin reconfigured

The purple is optional and goes in the center, but I recommend you to tape it away to kill the amber parking lights

He still has the drl gray wire connected, I’m pretty positive the repin it back feeding through the bulb filament to the flasher relay causing the issues.

Okay....blinker issue is FIXED! whew....thanks to Bluebottle and Inferno....they helped walk me through it.

But here is an option for you that wasn't clear in the instructions for me. I actually LIKE the AMBER DRLs on bright during the day. So...I unpinned the purple wire in the amber drl connector but NEVER cut the gray wire inside and it works just how I like it. Similar to our old headlights....when I turn on my car, the amber DRLs become bright ALONG with the LED DRL strip. (this is with or without the parking lights turned on). Only with the headlights turned on does the amber DRL turn off and is only lit when the blinker is used. TBH....its pretty striking during the day or in the evenings when you don't need the headlights yet and both the bright amber and bright LED drls are on together. (PS....it's an SR5....so the LEDs are bight all the time) Ill post pics.

Anyway...I found this out only through trial and error with inferno and bluebottles help. Just on option out there for you guys.

does the headlight angle adjust knob on the dash need to be on any specific setting before changing out the headlights and wiring harness? I usually run it on a 3. Just wondering before I do the 2018 headlight change out if I need to adjust all the way one way or another or leave it in the middle or it doesn't matter?
