Hi, I just ordered the harness at the name of Rolando Nieto. In PayPal it said that something went wrong so I just wanted to know if you got the order because I don’t want to buy it twice?

The pic of the tiny flat screwdriver and this vid should be in post 1, essential to switching the pins.

So I taped the purple wire and didn't cut the gray, like a previous poster I like the look of DRL ambers, matches my 3 hood lights.

And lastly, if you don't mind ordering from EB in North Attleboro, they were $52 less than the popular option, tracking and shipped in 5d, well packaged.
Input your zip to compare. From my bill:

Edit: Can't forget to thank OP for the harness!

Can someone please make a short video of how the lights function? Drl, lows highs signals etc. I know there is one from iHacker but I would like to see one with this harness. I am curious about DRL on high all the time.

Don't have a vid but assuming you switch the pins and cut the gray to do the DRL amber delete mod, there are 4 settings (I've ignored the fog lights), refer to my headlight pic above:

    1. Lights OFF, LED C bars are ON (truck running)
    2. Switch turned to DRL, LED C bars are ON, same as 1 no change
    3. Switch turned to Low Beams, LED C bars are ON and main lights inside the C are ON
    4. Pushing lever to High Beams, LED C bars are ON, main lights ON, small high beam lights beside the grill above the large ambers are ON

Lock/unlock/hazard/turn signals will flash the large amber lights beside the grill. If you leave the purple wire out, tape it off, and don't cut the gray wire in post 1 like me, the larger ambers are ON in 2, and turn OFF in 3 and 4.

If I'm understanding correctly, the "DRL on high all the time" refers to the LED C bar which is at full brightness and ON from 1 to 4, and also when turning. If you look at modern vehicles, most DRL LED's go off or dim on the side that is signalling a turn. I am unclear what the stock 2018 does with its LED C bars, but what I described is the behaviour I'm getting after install.

Thank you for the input. As far as I know, led drl bar should dim or go off when signaling and dim when the beams are on.

That would be ideal to oncoming traffic and what I would prefer safety-wise but I don't think any PNP harness does that.

ihacker's only does the 2nd part according to his vid, dims C bar when beams on, no change when signalling.

Personal preference I guess, I like the C's bright with beam on using eledobleu's harness. They're not blindingly bright like in the vid you pm'd, whatever recording device most people use do not exposure compensate. In real life, the C bars at full brightness are quite nice day or night.

Once you get your old headlights out it will make more sense,do the pin swaps and the drl mod if you choose to then start by routing all the new wiring to each side

Where did you put the ground from the relay? Also where did you mount it at?

Also in my old setup I got switchback LEDs with quick splice resistors, anyway I can remove them smoothly? Or should I put in 7444NA LEDs?

I must be over looking it but I didn’t see any. Also the fuse tap ends connect to the Green end from the headlight correct?

Bet, it’s clear now. I’ll try installation this weekend. Hopefully that quick splice doesn’t give me any issues.

It's pretty easy once you connect the OP's harness wires to the Motocontrol wires (clip them together as color coded and described in steps 1-3, double check), then lay it out:

You have to re-pin the truck's stock signal harnesses on either side first before plugging them into the new headlights (the "REQUIRED" step in Post#1). Watch the YouTube vid above how to push down and pull out the ends. Basically white/black goes where purple was.

Then exchange the 10A fuse with the fuse tap in the fuse box as shown in Post#1.

Find the nearest ground spots for the ground wires, mount the orange Motocontrol vertically somewhere.

The only step I missed was plugging together the OP's matching harness to the driver's side main light plug. The passenger side isn't plugged to anything, you can tape it covered if you want. This to this:

And a further step is making sure your lights are pointed correctly, my left one was pointing high AFTER I put everything back together. So I used a Philips screwdriver through the funnel and turned it to the desired position, turning rotates that white knob on the bottom left:

Question - Is this installed backwards? Isnt the wire supposed to be on the load size which is the right side of the fuse terminal?

Looks great. Did you keep your led as a DRL on full brightness and not dimming when you turn your headlights on?

I would like to keep amber as a DRL along with led strip.
What purple wire do if you keep it vs removing? Where purple wire is located?

When you exchange the white/black pin where the purple was in the truck's signal harnesses, leave the purple out and tape it dead. Don't cut the gray wire inside the cab and the amber stays on in DRL mode. OP's harness has no option for DRL dimming when beams on (like iHacker's), but you can add a relay I think if you want it.
