I did not use the 12 pos. I run my own wire from the batt to run the amps. Make sure to use one ground point to avoid loops which can cause white noise.

Ground loops is when u hear the alternator through the speakers. Its annoying. They just recommend using one point for all grounds.

You will need a ground for the amp and another one for the LC7. Depending on the wattage of your amp will be the wire gauge. On the amp, try to make positive and negative the same gauge. The LC7 takes a small wire.

Ok awesome, should I have both amps on the same ground to avoid engine noise?

Ok, everything is connected. Harness to LC7 to 4 channel amp to sub amp…. Everything is turning on but nothing from the subs. Sounds like the subs want to fire off but no music coming from them.

RCA’s from the 4 channel go to the sub amp, power is good and I believe the ground is solid. Remote wire running from the 4 channel to the sub amp as well…. The remote wire isn’t secured fully…. RCA’s are going in to the “input”…. Any idea?

Can u connect a speaker to the wire just before going into the LC7. This way we can know if the audio is getting there.
You should have the switch to 4 channel on the RF amp
Are the inout level to 50%

figured out what it was. Needed 4 wires to run from the sub amp to the LC7i 3rd channel input… I switched channel 2 RCA’s to channel 3 and the subs started to work…. Tomm I’ll have to find that connector and run new wires then figure out how to adjust all the knobs….. car audio world is so vague….. thank God for YouTube and folks like yourself in this forum otherwise I’d say ffff it like last year.

Great, I understood that you were not getting any audio. Sorry I went back and its just the sub. Glad you figure it out.
Tip: most of the times channel 1 from the radio is stronger than channel 2, so they recommended to use channel one to get the signal to the sub. On the LCi flip flop channel 1 and 2 as yr inputs.

Dont understand were will those wires / connectors go.
Did you switch the dip switch inside the LC7? This will give u audio to the 3 rd channel output. Channel 3 is the sub. You are needing 3 channels from 2. The third one is a copy of channel 2 but you need to move the dip switch inside the LCi.

check minute 3:30 on the first video I sent you.

the 3rd channel….. isn’t for the sub? I was on the equalizer portion in the head unit where it breaks down front/rear, left / right. When I move it to the rear no sound, odd but not a big deal.

Correct 3rd channel output. You dont have input for the 3rd channel. Can u post a pic of the LC7?
You should have chanel 1 n 2 input, dip switch (Auto mode) on channel 2 to feed channel 3 (inside LC7), the cannel 1,2 n 3 from yr outputs to the two amps.

Here are the default settings… I ran wires from channel 3 to speaker in on the amp… no subs…. But probably relates to what settings I need to change inside the lc7i?

If Im not wrong the Auto mode needs to be “on”. This way the 2nd channel will feed the third. The GTO is good because you have a remote from the LOC to the amps. No summing is good.

So now you have all 4 speakers and sub with audio, correct?
The bass can be controlled with a bass control knob that you ca; connect to the LC7
    Gains are on the LC7.
Start with all output level to zero

    DISCONNECT RCA OUT!!! A must

Play music and start rotating each output level knob clockwise. Gentle here until the Max light turn on and then go back a midget.

Before we move on…what do you have connected where I circled?

    To set the gains:
Play pink noise. If you don't have then play some music. You need to disconnect all RCAs to the amps. Start adjusting the gains one channel at a time. Start with channel one. Move the dial clockwise. Once you see that the Max led turns on, stop and go back a midget. Do the same with the other 2.

Then connect the 3 pairs of RCA ro the amps.

    Finally zip tie all wires.

Im confused now. The screw side are inputs. The RCA are outputs. How come you have n input for the 3rd channel?

also is that ground wire as thick as the positive? They should be the same gauge.

Now that you mention it…. This picture was prior to getting inside the LC7i….So I won’t put those input wires back in. Positive & negative wires are straight from the stock harness…. Should be same diameter…
