2017 Limited Looking for Remote Start

I bought a 17 Limited this week. First Toyota ever. It never crossed my mind as it’s a Limited, but it doesn’t have remote start & I’m a fan of it. I called 2 local installers. They both want around $500 to install one. I would really like an option that offers cell phone app expandability & hopefully uses the factory key fob. All I can find for DIY options are the Start-X plug-n-play model and it doesn’t look like there are any cell apps. Any advice from someone whose been there? Thanks!

'17 Limited owner here from the Northeast who jumped on the tech12volts group buy back in October. Plug n Play makes it a snap.

 

Are you sure it does not have it? Surprisingly, I found that my 16 SR5 TRD OR does. Hit the lock button 3 times....on the 3rd time hold the button and see if the truck starts.

2017 Limited here as well. I purchased from the last group buy (remote start + CL6 phone app), easy to install and works amazingly well. Do it!
