@jpod, Hey looks like he did all in the front even over the plastic part, looks nice.Does it last longer on the plastic part or is it more delicate? I did my steps for the truck, might be my next project. nice look @BlueRibbon4x4

^^^It took enormous restraint not to jump into some new wheels at the local shop (Grand Premier Tire & Custom.)

Afterwards, I proceeded to get loopy on Taiwanese rubber fumes while I installed the Fortin EVO remote start o_O :p

Thanks man! I used Raptor liner. I had to sand the plastic and use adhesion promoter. It’s holding up great. I did the rear bumper and side steps also.

Really impressive light output. Not as clean of a cutoff as some others, but no one has flashed me yet, and they illuminate really really well.

I have 5100s all around and the front are on the highest setting. Can’t wait to get/install them. Next I need to get new tires. I’m leaning towards the Nitto Exo AWT 285/70/18 for the snowy weather we get up here.

Did some maintenance: power steering and coolant flushes.

Toyota’s are so “maintenance friendly”. Unlike my prior Chevy truck.

Got rear ended today by a UHaul truck. I always keep my draw bar hitch on for that very reason. It saved me, no contact with the bumper or tail gate. He reversed and his plastic bumper stayed on my hitch

Has anyone had tint done by the dealer? Curious if they would match the fronts to the rear windows.

They can only match it if it's legal to have the fronts as dark as the rear in your state. They will go as dark as is legal.

Not only that, but the dealer will probably charge an arm and leg for the job. I'd seek out the help of a professional at a reputable shop. Since they'd give a better deal and are usually the ones subcontracted by the dealer anyway...

Did a 250 miles day trip yesterday, so had to clean the interior. The “Shine Today, Gone Tomorrow” crap the dealership put on a few weeks ago is long gone and the kids and the dog made quite a mess. Got some 303 Dash Protectant on anything plastic, Meguires Leather cleaner and protection on anything that used to say “Moo” and the windows cleaned. Also checked the oil level.

Would like to wash the outside, but it’s going to rain in a few days, so I’ll just ignore it for now.
