How long will this be open?

 

So if I understand this correctly, if you have a 2018 Platinum these headlights are plug and play with no error codes as you advertise, is this correct?

 

I'm shooting to hold it open for a Week. Depending on how it rolls, it may be open longer. I'll be playing it by ear really!

 

That is correct. We had one customer of ours who had an issue with his Turn Signals but a replacement unit took care of that issue! Other than that, we have yet to hear of an issue with these housings on a variety of Tundras. Now I know you were messaging us about a Warning message you were having with yours, did you get that one handled? I was wondering about that!

Careful with these lights, I have a 2018 Platinum and have had a hell of a time getting them to work and it still has not been correct and I bought mine Nov 5, 2019. I thought they were finally correct then I used my bright lights for the first time since they have been installed (I turned the high beams on to check them but never had them on longer than a minute) and I had warning lights come on my dash again. When I turned the high beams off the warning lights remained on the dash up to parking and turning the truck off. Went in to work and when I came out 12 hours later and started the truck the warning light was off.

Tried it again the next day and same thing. So now every time I use my high beams I get this. Each time I contact the company I bought them from there end up to be multiple companies contacting me telling to try things that have already been done. I had many offers to return for a refund but I want a pair of headlights that work as advertised. If they do not work for a Platinum model Tundra then that should be listed. I have screwed around with these things for months but they are still not 100%.
Buyer beware, not sure what good the warranty brings to the party if they want to return your money, I want a pair of lights that are fully functional

 

@Headlight Revolution I got these installed with zero issues, but i had these left over and I'm curious if they were just extras or if i did something wrong


All lights are working properly..? Don't pay any mind to the dirty truck, just look at the beautiful headlights lol.

 

Ah no worries about those! Those are Turn Signal Adapters for those with OEM LED Headlights, you'd know right off the bat if you needed them or not as the install couldn't be completed. They look great, Nice work!

 

This is a Very Rare issue we have heard about 2 times now out of all sales to this date, we've been in contact with you previously in attempts to help out where we can. Only one of our Customers have reported this Error message you are mentioning, and we have since Refunded him in Full and Returned the housings back to the Manufacturer for Research/Testing to pinpoint the source of the issue. This is just what happens with New Products, there will always be Hiccups that need solving, it just takes a bit of time to dig through the Possibilities and Variables in testing to resolve the issue. For example, You will not find any vehicles that release from Factories that do not have recalls, even our beloved Tundras have had Recalls! That doesn't make them bad trucks, it's just how that ball bounces with new Products/Releases. I know it's no fun having an Error message on your Dashboard, Maybe revert to the OEM Housings for now until more is uncovered from the Testing. Sending in your housings for testing may help with finding these rare errors sooner!

I understand that you want a product that works as advertised..... but if you have issues and are not happy.... why not return for the warranty or refund versus keeping them?

 

I do not have my original headlights from last November

 

I want a replacement set, I do not have my original headlights, they sold last November when I bought these lights. Had them for many months with no issue then the first time I used my bright lights I get the warning light. If they advertise the headlights work with a 2018 and they have a problem and I have a warranty then why does everyone want to give me my money back? I have “NEVER” been offered a replacement set

That would be between you and the shop you ordered through. What all do you have installed aftermarket-wise on the truck? (Alarm systems, Trailor brake kits, lighting, etc.) I've seen some trailer kits and systems like the Viper alarm system play badly with LED/HID kits. Just trying to think outside the box here and find some common denominators from our only reported case.
