2013 Sequoia Limited to TRD FAUX build now with BOOST!

No codes this morning, it shifts well, shifts into 4LO/HI/ 2WD.

 

Sniv's first tune felt great! Tree feels significantly faster, I'm thinking my motor was ill for some time. Maybe that's why I was getting 5mpg?

 

Didn't this all start with a broken valve spring? Or was there something else?

 

A valve wasn’t sealing, won’t know until I take the head off exactly why.

 

Brought the motor home, was going to be an ordeal in the Tree so they lent me their 2001 345k Tacoma 5speed, looks like crap, works fine.

 

I had to go back & get this fixed yesterday.

 

We cannot catch a break.

Wife just sent this, she works at the State Capitol, in the parking lot there, '24 Bronco, less than 4k miles...

 

WTH!!!! Hope y'all can find out who did it! What a bunch of crap!!! People!!!!!! The less I have to deal with them the better I am! HA!!!

Not like it is going to fix anything?????? but did someone come forward? Surely there is video. I would be asking wife to park way far away from everyone if possible that way she can get her walk in every day! HA!

At some point STUFF is going to stop and it'll be smooth sailing after!

 

Don't know about cameras, but a woman was there & told her who did it, waited for the CPD to arrive & my Wife agreed to press charges if the person is caught.

There are a ton of homeless in the area & that is how he was described. We have a police report & have filed a claim with insurance as 2 PDR guys looked at the pictures & said they can't fix it.

Fucking sucks.

It's out & on the stand!

 

Waiting for bolts to mount the Sequoia motor on it's stand so I can have room to assemble the rest of the BMW motor.

 

Pulled the dent out as much as I could.

 

Man, that dent is a PITA. It looks like it would be too close to the door edge to get completely out. Depends on how much you can live with.

 

It needs to be perfect or she will be very unhappy, it is a freaking new car

 

I'm afraid the body shop awaits you then.

 

That's a given, sucks.

 

Got the motor properly on the stand today, the rotating deal is super easy to use.

Starting to get the garage organized.

Apparently, the coolant was seeping for a while.

 

Moved the motor to where it will sit for some time.

 

The dealer we bought the Bronco from picked it up to do the repair, 2024 Pathfinder rental, hate the start stop button & the shifter.

 

Even with unobstructed access, this is a pita

 

Looks pretty though!

 

Inside a new engine is weird!

 

How does a package go from near Phoenix at 3:18am to Las Vegas at 4:35am???

Also, how does it do that without LEAVING Goodyear, Az????????

The tune kit was supposed to be delivered yesterday but was put on the wrong truck.

It was on the wrong shelf today and if I had not had another package coming and had not been here to ask for it would not have been delivered today.

 

Closer & closer, hope to be done today.

 

Exhaust is done, still have the radiator, oil cooler, power steering plumbing & placement of it's reservoir & to smoke test the intake/sc piping. The clutch return spring needs to be put together & while it sounds like nothing, it's a PITA of the most extreme proportions.



Also, the Rangers fucking suck, gave up 2 in the 3rd to allow the tie & then lost in OT FOR THE SECOND GAME IN A ROW!!!

So sick of them.
