2013 Sequoia Limited to TRD FAUX build now with BOOST!

Transmission & differential oil going in, hopefully, shocks too.

 

I had the "right" oils from Amsoil, got under there and found this:


That sent me 2 hours down the oil rabbit hole as I had MTF.

I called a dealer, gave my vin & was told I need MTF LT2 75-80 because my transmission is a ZF S5D320Z and the BMW oil PN is 83222339219 But that model needs synchromesh.

The differential is SAF xXJ 75-90 83222357992

I've been eyeballing the same kit...interested to see your results. This is for the BMW, right? Are you able to tune for the kit, or just using to cool IATs?

 

I'm hoping to use it as an intercooler replacement, as I found in this post.

Cool, that's exactly the way I was going to do it on the Tundra...do you have a way to monitor post-boost IATs to see the results?

 

I hope so, the cable for their tuner is out for delivery so I will see what it shows today, the kit is at least a week from shipping, (they have up to 2 weeks to ship disclaimer on the purchase page) Active Autowerke has been amazing, answer the phone, call back, shipped the cable 2 day out of their pocket etc.

I have the glass break sensor & LED in my dash so figured I must have the factory alarm & ordered a fob, I was able to program it but there was a fault. Turned out there is a hidden switch on the radio that was armed when I installed the aftermarket radio. The hood switch was bad and when I removed it I have a fully functional remote lock/unlocking alarm. I ordered a hood switch.

I had KW’s on my WRX ……they were awesome!!!

 

Turns out Ca sends the registration, then the title "for security" WTF? it's not an ATM card & pin. If someone else has just the registration wtf can they do? NOTHING. If they just have the tile (and they have the car/are thieves) they can transfer it. STUPID, also why not send the title FIRST????

0& the title is in today's mail.

the packing tape was bugging me & Ca did not ask for the current miles so made the disclosure exempt I'm sure that'll add to making a problem selling if I ever want to.

I called KW, 4 weeks for my coilovers to come from Germany.

 

That's the brand exhaust I was going to go with. But my warranty wouldn't replace stock with aftermarket. But they did shell out $1100 for a new factory muffler from Germany!

 

I did KW V1 Coilovers first, and ended up swapping to Bilstien B6's and Eibach lowering springs. Also moved from 19" wheels to 18" with taller sidewalls. The ride is so much better now! The KW v2's and higher have more adjustability so those should be nice as well. The V1s were just too stiff for a street car that isn't tracked.

 

I went from 16-17" wheels, the tires are Pilot 4 225/45/17

Good luck! You won't see much price action until the car rolls across the block for live bidding. It can be a pain waiting for your car to come up. Just keep note of it's Lot Number. They go in sequential order. But it's been the case that the car I was watching was like #120 in the list, and you have to wait for the other 119 cars to go through first. I.E Bidding starts at Noon, but your car may not go live for 2 hours after that
