2013 Sequoia Limited to TRD FAUX build now with BOOST!

It was for 23 months, & even failing, ran the truck fine.

 

I saw that, WTH?!?! Not very promising for a $300+ battery.

 

Hopefully it was a one off defective battery. They replaced it no problem no cost.

 

Cool, I see it has a 4 year warranty!

 

I have an Advance auto parts regular battery for 4.5 years and still works fine. paid less than $100 with discounts, crazy how the prices are more than double and excluded from discounts!

 

Just got back from L.A. Mom died at 12:10 yesterday, Left at 6PM, stuck in horrible traffic, went 32.9 miles in 1:20, got home after 1am.

Picked up the car about 1:30, had an 80 mile drive that took almost 3 hours thanks to a bad crash & typical L.A. traffic. Car was a champ, runs great & no issues until when we got to the hotel with it's 5'10" underground parking that my 6'3" Sequoia driven by my wife got stuck in. When I tried to back out I ripped a sprinkler head out. Big fun.

Oh yeah, ran the fire alarm, caused the FD to come. Funny now, not so much at the time.

GPS in my remote start is crazy accurate, the dot is literally in the spot the Tree is in!

 

Home, after the last fill up I lost the Innovate O2 sensor.


Truck ran great, pulled the trailer &car without any trouble.

 

Averaged 9mpg, had a few instances where I was going flow of traffic & leaving a reasonable amount of space between me & the car I was behind where an asshat wanted to pass, I was able to say nope & close the gap. The truck really is amazing!





After it got dark, I turned on the BMWs markers.

 

The eagle has landed.

Second mod installed.

Took longer to activate the XM radio than make the harness & install.

Got black seats without the rails/motors. Swap is a workout, only did the passenger & I'm wiped.

A few more things came in.

 

Window regulator was a mess, grinded at the top. I replaced it today, was quite the adventure. PO JB welded the door pull in at the top mount where the mirror switch is. Getting it apart was no fun. Ordered a 225 "repaired" replacement. WHY THE FUCK are they 800 from BMW?????

Made an interim pull from a flashlight case I never used.

Front & rear shock mounts, ICV hose & intake boot came.

 

Restored the white marker lights, rinsed three cars, cleaned pigeon poop off the roof. Burnt.

 

Ordered a refurbished black driver door pull for 225 & dyed the passenger black.




535 steering wheel doesn't fit. gaaaaaa
