Good thing I ordered the fuel line adapter. Shame the fuel rail adapter didn't come yesterday. I ordered a second that is out for delivery, I'll keep whichever shows up first.

 

FPR is in, slow start gone, it seems better (haven't driven yet) Working until 3, then a drive & log.

I'm still lean (over 15) the higher pressure I give, the lower the afr number gets (14-15 at 58) which is as high as this FPR will go.

I ordered an Aeromotive, from Amazon that said it would deliver today but is not coming until tomorrow.


The fittings are coming today though

 

So I got the hose, installed it and am totally flumoxed, it goes from 58 to 40 @ throttle (I am afraid to go wot as the afrs are up to 16). Why would that happen?

New Aeromotive FPR is in, no pressure change, AFR is a bit better

 

Can't seem to find how you did this, is this something built into the head unit? What radar are you using?

 

The Maestro has a cable that lets it talk to certain radar detectors, mine is an Escort Max360c.

Dropped the Tree off to get the warranty work done, first time it isn't sleeping at home, they grow up so fast.

They gave me a '23 Tacoma.

 

Apparently, Air tags are worthless unless an Apple device, that is online is nearby.

I have an Air tag in the Tree, It has not updated since 12:43 last night so I looked for ways to refresh it.

Luckily my remote start has cellular tracking.

 

Got the first of 2 submersible hoses & direct wire kit for the pump.

Am I deleting the oem power & ground or splicing these to them?

So they are just pulling the timing chain/components forward rather than completely off? I heard that method saves a lot of time if you are not doing any timing components but I wonder how your tensioners are doing?

I think I have some chain slap on cold days and I'm not sure what I should do as I believe my cam tower seal is also seeping as well as the main crank pully seal at the front of the engine... I definitely can't afford it but I think I need to do the cam tower seals, timing chain kit, and that main crank pully seal and might as well redo the valve covers. Too scared to take it somewhere to have it overlooked and then tell me it's going to cost upwards of $7000 CDN... I just want a lift and a new set of tires

Hows the quality of Xtron products, are you still happy with your purchase and also what did the installation entail? I have kids so I am considering a unit from this brand. I currently have the OEM rear entertainment system installed

Except to set it up I haven't really used it, it looks good & works well on the Roku, the internal apps are clunky.

I like it.


Picked up the Tree, all well, no new sounds & the parts minus the pump are here, pump says tomorrow.

 

Don't forget to recheck your fuel pressure before firing it back up, once you get it all back together. Let's keep the conversation here so that we stop mucking up the supercharger thread and running folks off.

 

Rebuilt the pump basket with Gates submersible hose.

 

The paperwork Toyota gave me is near impossible to read, here is what they have on the owner portal. When u/l control arms are replaced does a new alignment need to be done?

If they did it would it be notated?

Put it together, not fully sewn up because I have bene burned before. NADA, not even thinking about thinking about running. Thought maybe I swapped the lines, tried to swap them NO! the hardlines are different sizes (learned after wrestling them the fuck off)

Thought maybe I had the hoses in the basket swapped, NO! Gave it electricity, the Walbro isn't pushing shit, nada NOTHING.

Wired up the Deatchwerks, tried to start, tried to start, STARTED! RUNS & over 100 fucking PSI (Aerootive maxed out to get to 58ish with the Shitbro.

Also, thans for the Tacoma instructions, they made me feel smart because I bought that transmission jack they are using all on my own.

This was when I was verifying blue is power & soldering the relay to it.

 

So, yesterday I drove it, it was amazing, for 20 minutes, after I FILLED the tank, pressure dropped to 20lbs.

Dropped the tank this morning, hose @ the pump pulled off when I opened the basket, I erred on the side of not too tight & lost.

It's back to having pressure but needs to be buttoned up, I hope for the last time.

Thanks, it was nice but feels really small. The motor was very buzzy, it was top O the line TRD PRO 4x so the best I assume. I can't imagine owning one.

Butond up, lost fuel sender GAAAAAAA. I know I connected it but apparently not tightly. Not pulling the tank again today, it is full, I'll fill it in 200 miles if I don't drop it again before.

 

After another drive, my fuel gauge came back. It feels like another truck, so much torque!!!

 

Replacement Aeromotive came, installed an AN6 right angle connector at the fuel rail & ran it to the driver side, and ran the pressure gauge inside.

 

I asked via text several times if they aligned the Tree after r&ring the upper & lower control arms, he finally answered.

Um, why didn't they ask me if I wanted to pay? Now I have to make an appointment & take it for an alignment

 

If you change your fuel line routing to eliminate the return line, you can clean it up a bit. Currently your return side is using the stock line (23902 in image) connected to the hardline, I would just run a short hose directly from the FPR return barb straight down to that hardline and remove 23902. Also, you might want to get an electronic fuel pressure gauge w/sensor if you want to run it in the cab.
