2013 Sequoia Limited to TRD FAUX build now with BOOST!

Walbro 450.

 

After front shock r&r alignment, shows touching the suspension moves the alignment.

 

IC pump installed. Ran the harness, verified function, disconnected the harness so it's not running. Waiting for the O rings to do the injectors & running the gas out before I can do the pump.

 

Finished the IC hose routing. Waiting to do the reservoir until the SC is on, hoping the rest of the parts I'm missing come early in the week.

 

Went to lunch, came home, opened garage, apparently the door did not fully open, hit it.

Guy came, got it to close (barely) will return in the AM with a new door, rails, springs etc.

Damn that's a tough break!

Is the walbro in and running? Does it whine like the old walbro 255's? I ran them in my 240sx's, I always hated the noise of the walbro 255's. I ran a deastchwerks in my 4r and it was dead silent with plenty of flow.

 

The pump isn't in yet, it's not that loud in my hand, I doubt I'll hear it installed.

 

I got the O rings from FIVE O, there are different ones than what I have & an extra. I asked 5-O without response, which do I use to replace the orange one I have on the injectors & where does the other one go?

 

After looking at their site. I wonder if it's just o-rings for different motors since those injectors will "fit" the 4.6 and both flex/non-flex 5.7's?

 

I looked up their o-ring kit, they are just different sizes for different applications since it's a universal o ring kit.

He said the extra was to be sure I had the best one. The black seems best to me.



Belt routing sticker came.


The puller I got last week was not for our motors, I returned it & got both the right one & the 2.30 pulley to tune in case Sniv's is not ready yet.




The door is fixed.

How many pounds of boost will you be pushing with this?

 

7-8lbs I believe as opposed to 5.

 

Can the pump be clocked so the output is more vertical? That brass 90 with the rubber isolator will wear out and damage the rad or the pipe over time.

 

It's an optical illusion, the directions called for a 15 degree angle is why it's not verticle. There is space, here are different angles & one with my pry bar in there.

Looking good!! Don't forget to lube your fuel injector o rings! At least the fuel rails and injectors look easy to access with the intake off!

Could not get the Gates on, gave up, went with the Dayco. It was not easy but went on.

The reservoir was backwards, the Vacuum hose needed to be tightened down, PVC needs to go to the catch can.
