The rings to make the sub fit came nothing else will.
The one in Chandler is the driver, was "early" and won't be coming, the NM one is supposed to come today (fiberglass materials to make the sub box)

 

Driver came, it's funny small, I'm used to 12's.

 

Sub is in, it's ok but I'm used to the 12" so for now I'm leaving it unattached.

 

Added the 8" to the 12" & turned up the gain on the amp, it's amazing.

I pulled the plastic bin in the under floor storage and shoved the box in & it is less bulging.

The "working" part of the trip was helping my Mom:

Friday I took Mom to the Dr. This Range Rover blew the limit line & then ran the red. (making a right turn, upper right of the frame)I never came near him, just asserted my lane/right of way. At the next light, he was gesturing wildly, shaking his head & I asked what the problem was. He said I drove like a f00king a$$hole & he had my plate & was going to mail me a ticket. I said you do that (& f00k you) I drove off, he proceeded to follow me & record (illegal in Ca to have a cel phone in your hand while driving) while making the signature gesture.

Just plain old jealousy. He wasn’t driving a Sequoia and was trying to compensate.

 

He is coming down the street West L.A. PD is on so may be a cop, but it don't work that way.

Picked up 2 TRD PRO rims at Wescott Designs, man that place is awesome, ordered a 3rd on eBay, looking for #4!

My first Weathertech purchase is underwhelming. Seems cheap, is made of plastic & I forsee it disintegrating if I am hit or back into something. Also, it came direct, in no outer box.

I don't need a big step, but it's helpful to be able to get to the roof & it says it protects the rear which is a benefit.

 

First rim I bought, is coming UPS was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Now coming Tuesday. The second, ordered a day later is coming FedEx and was supposed to be delivered Wednesday, coming TODAY! UPS sucks!

 

Woot! 3 down, one at the mercy of UPS.

Do you really need load range E? They will ride more harsh compared to P-rated ones or even C or D.

I have been running Cooper Discoverers AT3 4S 275/60r20 since the car was new. They still have about 8/32 at 27,000 miles; will likely look for the replacement set in October-November.

 

Interestingly, when I search by vehicle it shows E.

 

I would absolutely not consider an E-rated tire unless I have a 3/4 or a 1-ton, need to tow heavy, or absolutely have to have a 10-ply sidewall because I drive on maintenance/dirt roads every day. Plus, an LT tire is noticeably heavier than the P-rated tire, and I would feel the difference in driving dynamics every day.

 

Simple Tire, best deal by over 400 bucks.
